ВИДЕНИЈА ЗА ИДНИНАТА
Опис на Божјиот престол
4 Потоа имав друго видение. На небото видов отворена врата. Тогаш ми проговори истиот глас, силен како од труба, како и на почетокот, и ми рече: „Искачи се овде, за да ти покажам што ќе се случува во иднината!“
2 Тогаш паднав во занес[a] и таму, на небото, видов престол и Некој што седи на престолот. 3 Ликот на Тој што седеше на престолот Му блескаше како скапоцените камења јаспис и карнеол[b]. Околу престолот имаше круг од божилак, со боја на смарагд. 4 Исто така, околу централниот престол имаше дваесет и четири други престоли. На нив седеа дваесет и четири старешини, облечени во бели облеки, со златни венци на главите. 5 Од централниот престол излегуваа молскавици, грмежи и татнежи. Пред престолот гореа седум факли кои Го претставуваа седумкратниот[c] Божји Дух. 6 Исто така, пред престолот се простираше нешто што прилегаше на стаклено море, бистро како кристал.
Околу централниот престол имаше четири живи суштества полни со очи и однапред и одназад. 7 Првото суштество беше како лав, второто како јунец, третото со лице на човек, а четвртото беше како орел во лет. 8 Секое суштество имаше по шест крилја, и беа полни со очи и однадвор и однатре. Овие суштества деноноќно и без прекин викаат:
„Свет е, свет е, свет е Господ, Семоќниот Бог, Кој отсекогаш постоел, постои и ќе дојде!“
9 Секојпат кога четирите суштества Му оддаваа слава, чест и благодарност на Оној што седеше на престолот - на Вечно Живиот - 10 во истиот миг дваесет и четирите старешини паѓаа ничкум и Му се поклонуваа на Вечно Живиот, положувајќи ги своите венци пред престолот и говорејќи:
11 „Достоен Си, Господе и Боже наш,
да примиш слава, чест и власт,
зашто Ти си Творецот на се,
и се што постои, Тебе Ти го должи[d] своето постоење и создавање!“

- Откровение 4:3 Јаспис и карнеол се минерали од облиците на кварц. Спаѓаат во групата на халцедони. На грчки иаспис значи матен. Може да биде безбоен или различно обоен (зелен, црвен или жолт), зависно од примесите. Карнеолот (во грчкиот текст: сард) е најчесто интензивно црвен. Во старо време биле многу ценети како скапоцени камења. Заедничка боја на јасписот и карнеолот им е црвената, па можно е дека апостол Јован опишува Лик што блеска со интензивна црвена боја, што би била симбол на Христовата крв. На тој начин би бил идентификуван Седнатиот на престолот - тоа е Исус Христос. Смарагдот по хемиски состав е берилиум алумосиликат, со зелена боја, поради примеси од оксид на хром.

4 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

4 Human niadto, may gipakita pa gayod kanako. Nakita ko ang pultahan sa langit nga naabli. Ug nadungog ko pag-usab ang makusog nga tingog nga daw trumpeta. Miingon kini kanako, “Saka dinhi kay ipakita ko kanimo kon unsa ang mahitabo sa umaabot.” 2 Diha-diha gigamhan ako sa Espiritu Santo. Ug nakita ko didto sa langit ang usa ka trono ug may nagalingkod niini. 3 Ang nagalingkod niini nagadan-ag sama sa mahalon nga mga bato nga haspe ug kornalina. Ug sa palibot sa trono may bangaw nga ang iyang kolor sama sa bato nga esmeralda. 4 Sa palibot sa trono, may lain pang 24 ka mga trono nga gilingkoran sa 24 ka mga pangulo. Kini nga mga pangulo nagabistig puti ug ang matag usa kanila may korona nga bulawan. 5 Ug gikan didto sa trono may pagpangilat ug pagdalogdog ug nagkalain-lain pa nga pagdahunog. Atubangan sa trono may pito ka suga nga nagasiga. Mao kadto ang pito ka Espiritu sa Dios.[a] 6 Didto usab sa atubangan sa trono adunay morag dagat nga tin-aw sama sa kristal.
Sa palibot sa trono, sa matag kilid, may upat ka nilalang nga nalukop ug mga mata sa atubangan ug sa likod. 7 Ang una nga nilalang morag liyon; ang ikaduha morag lating baka; ang ikatulo morag tawo ang hitsura; ug ang ikaupat morag agila nga nagalupad. 8 Ang matag usa kanila may unom ka mga pako ug nalukop sa mga mata ang ilang tibuok nga lawas. Adlaw-gabii wala silay hunong sa ilang pagkanta nga nagaingon,
“Balaan! Balaan! Balaan ang atong Ginoong Dios nga makagagahom sa tanan.
Siya mao ang Dios kaniadto, karon ug sa umaabot.”
9 Kanunay ang ilang pagdayeg, pagpasidungog ug pagpasalamat kaniya nga nagalingkod didto sa trono, siya nga nagakinabuhi sa walay kataposan. Ug samtang gibuhat nila kini, 10 ang 24 ka mga pangulo nagaluhod ug nagasimba kaniya nga nagalingkod didto sa trono, siya nga nagakinabuhi sa walay kataposan. Ug gibutang nila ang ilang mga korona sa atubangan sa trono ug nagaingon:
11 “Ikaw ang among Ginoo ug Dios, takos ikaw nga modawat sa pagpasidungog, pagtahod, ug gahom.
Kay gimugna mo ang tanang mga butang.
Gibuhat mo sila sumala sa imong kabubut-on.”

The Throne in Heaven
4 After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open(A) in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet(B) said, “Come up here,(C) and I will show you what must take place after this.”(D) 2 At once I was in the Spirit,(E) and there before me was a throne in heaven(F) with someone sitting on it. 3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper(G) and ruby.(H) A rainbow(I) that shone like an emerald(J) encircled the throne. 4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders.(K) They were dressed in white(L) and had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder.(M) In front of the throne, seven lamps(N) were blazing. These are the seven spirits[a](O) of God. 6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass,(P) clear as crystal.
In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures,(Q) and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.(R) 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.(S) 8 Each of the four living creatures(T) had six wings(U) and was covered with eyes all around,(V) even under its wings. Day and night(W) they never stop saying:
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne(Z) and who lives for ever and ever,(AA) 10 the twenty-four elders(AB) fall down before him(AC) who sits on the throne(AD) and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

To receive glory and honor and power;

And by (X)Your will they [h]exist and were created.”
