5 Итак стойте в свободе, которую даровал нам Христос, и не подвергайтесь опять игу рабства.

²Вот, я, Павел, говорю вам: если вы обрезываетесь, не будет вам никакой пользы от Христа.

³Еще свидетельствую всякому человеку обрезывающемуся, что он должен исполнить весь закон.

⁴Вы, оправдывающие себя законом, остались без Христа, отпали от благодати,

⁵а мы духом ожидаем и надеемся праведности от веры.

⁶Ибо во Христе Иисусе не имеет силы ни обрезание, ни необрезание, но вера, действующая любовью.

⁷Вы шли хорошо: кто остановил вас, чтобы вы не покорялись истине?

⁸Такое убеждение не от Призывающего вас.

⁹Малая закваска заквашивает все тесто.

¹⁰Я уверен о вас в Господе, что вы не будете мыслить иначе; а смущающий вас, кто бы он ни был, понесет на себе осуждение.

¹¹За что же гонят меня, братия, если я и теперь проповедую обрезание? Тогда соблазн креста прекратился бы.

¹²О, если бы удалены были возмущающие вас!

¹³К свободе призваны вы, братия, только бы свобода ваша не была поводом к [угождению] плоти, но любовью служите друг другу.

¹⁴Ибо весь закон в одном слове заключается: люби ближнего твоего, как самого себя.

¹⁵Если же друг друга угрызаете и съедаете, берегитесь, чтобы вы не были истреблены друг другом.

¹⁶Я говорю: поступайте по духу, и вы не будете исполнять вожделений плоти,

¹⁷ибо плоть желает противного духу, а дух--противного плоти: они друг другу противятся, так что вы не то делаете, что хотели бы.

¹⁸Если же вы духом водитесь, то вы не под законом.

¹⁹Дела плоти известны; они суть: прелюбодеяние, блуд, нечистота, непотребство,

²⁰идолослужение, волшебство, вражда, ссоры, зависть, гнев, распри, разногласия, (соблазны), ереси,

²¹ненависть, убийства, пьянство, бесчинство и тому подобное. Предваряю вас, как и прежде предварял, что поступающие так Царствия Божия не наследуют.

²²Плод же духа: любовь, радость, мир, долготерпение, благость, милосердие, вера,

²³кротость, воздержание. На таковых нет закона.

²⁴Но те, которые Христовы, распяли плоть со страстями и похотями.

²⁵Если мы живем духом, то по духу и поступать должны.

²⁶Не будем тщеславиться, друг друга раздражать, друг другу завидовать.

5 τη ελευθερια ημας χριστος ηλευθερωσεν στηκετε ουν και μη παλιν ζυγω δουλειας ενεχεσθε

²ιδε εγω παυλος λεγω υμιν οτι εαν περιτεμνησθε χριστος υμας ουδεν ωφελησει

³μαρτυρομαι δε παλιν παντι ανθρωπω περιτεμνομενω οτι οφειλετης εστιν ολον τον νομον ποιησαι

⁴κατηργηθητε απο χριστου οιτινες εν νομω δικαιουσθε της χαριτος εξεπεσατε

⁵ημεις γαρ πνευματι εκ πιστεως ελπιδα δικαιοσυνης απεκδεχομεθα

⁶εν γαρ χριστω [ιησου] ουτε περιτομη τι ισχυει ουτε ακροβυστια αλλα πιστις δι αγαπης ενεργουμενη

⁷ετρεχετε καλως τις υμας ενεκοψεν αληθεια μη πειθεσθαι

⁸η πεισμονη ουκ εκ του καλουντος υμας

⁹μικρα ζυμη ολον το φυραμα ζυμοι

¹⁰εγω πεποιθα εις υμας εν κυριω οτι ουδεν αλλο φρονησετε ο δε ταρασσων υμας βαστασει το κριμα οστις εαν η

¹¹εγω δε αδελφοι ει περιτομην ετι κηρυσσω τι ετι διωκομαι αρα κατηργηται το σκανδαλον του σταυρου

¹²οφελον και αποκοψονται οι αναστατουντες υμας

¹³υμεις γαρ επ ελευθερια εκληθητε αδελφοι μονον μη την ελευθεριαν εις αφορμην τη σαρκι αλλα δια της αγαπης δουλευετε αλληλοις

¹⁴ο γαρ πας νομος εν ενι λογω πεπληρωται εν τω αγαπησεις τον πλησιον σου ως σεαυτον

¹⁵ει δε αλληλους δακνετε και κατεσθιετε βλεπετε μη υπ αλληλων αναλωθητε

¹⁶λεγω δε πνευματι περιπατειτε και επιθυμιαν σαρκος ου μη τελεσητε

¹⁷η γαρ σαρξ επιθυμει κατα του πνευματος το δε πνευμα κατα της σαρκος ταυτα γαρ αλληλοις αντικειται ινα μη α εαν θελητε ταυτα ποιητε

¹⁸ει δε πνευματι αγεσθε ουκ εστε υπο νομον

¹⁹φανερα δε εστιν τα εργα της σαρκος ατινα εστιν πορνεια ακαθαρσια ασελγεια

²⁰ειδωλολατρια φαρμακεια εχθραι ερις ζηλος θυμοι εριθειαι διχοστασιαι αιρεσεις

²¹φθονοι μεθαι κωμοι και τα ομοια τουτοις α προλεγω υμιν καθως προειπον οτι οι τα τοιαυτα πρασσοντες βασιλειαν θεου ου κληρονομησουσιν

²²ο δε καρπος του πνευματος εστιν αγαπη χαρα ειρηνη μακροθυμια χρηστοτης αγαθωσυνη πιστις

²³πραυτης εγκρατεια κατα των τοιουτων ουκ εστιν νομος

²⁴οι δε του χριστου ιησου την σαρκα εσταυρωσαν συν τοις παθημασιν και ταις επιθυμιαις

²⁵ει ζωμεν πνευματι πνευματι και στοιχωμεν

²⁶μη γινωμεθα κενοδοξοι αλληλους προκαλουμενοι αλληλοις φθονουντες

Galatians 5

King James Version

5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

²Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

³For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

⁴Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

⁵For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

⁶For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

⁷Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

⁸This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.

⁹A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

¹⁰I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

¹¹And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

¹²I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

¹³For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

¹⁴For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

¹⁵But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

¹⁶This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

¹⁷For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

¹⁸But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

¹⁹Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

²⁰Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

²¹Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

²²But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

²³Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

²⁴And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

²⁵If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

²⁶Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Galatians 5

Christian Liberty

5 ^(A)Stand^[a] fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a ^(B)yoke of bondage. ²Indeed I, Paul, say to you that ^(C)if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. ³And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised ^(D)that he is ^[b]a debtor to keep the whole law. ⁴^(E)You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; ^(F)you have fallen from grace. ⁵For we through the Spirit eagerly ^(G)wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. ⁶For ^(H)in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but ^(I)faith working through love.

Love Fulfills the Law

⁷You ^(J)ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? ⁸This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. ⁹^(K)A little leaven leavens the whole lump. ¹⁰I have confidence in you, in the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is.

¹¹And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, ^(L)why do I still suffer persecution? Then ^(M)the offense of the cross has ceased. ¹²^(N)I could wish that those ^(O)who trouble you would even ^[c]cut themselves off!

¹³For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only ^(P)do not use liberty as an ^(Q)opportunity for the flesh, but ^(R)through love serve one another. ¹⁴For ^(S)all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: ^(T)“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” ¹⁵But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!

Walking in the Spirit

¹⁶I say then: ^(U)Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. ¹⁷For ^(V)the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, ^(W)so that you do not do the things that you wish. ¹⁸But ^(X)if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

¹⁹Now ^(Y)the works of the flesh are evident, which are: ^[d]adultery, ^[e]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, ²⁰idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, ²¹envy, ^[f]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that ^(Z)those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

²²But ^(AA)the fruit of the Spirit is ^(AB)love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, ^(AC)goodness, ^(AD)faithfulness, ²³^[g]gentleness, self-control. ^(AE)Against such there is no law. ²⁴And those who are Christ’s ^(AF)have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. ²⁵^(AG)If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. ²⁶^(AH)Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
