27 У дан онај
походиће Господ мачем својим,
љутим и великим и јаким
левијатана, змију вијугаву,
и заклаће неман морску.
Виноград Господњи
2 У дан онај
„Винограде винородни – одговориће му.
3 Ја, Господ, бдим над њим,
заливам га непрестано;
да га неко не оштети,
дању и ноћу стражарим над њим.
4 Нема јарости у мени.
Трновитим бодљама, ко ће ме напасти?
Наступићу против њега;
спалићу га свега.
5 Или: нека се поузда у моје уточиште:
мир са мном нека склопи,
са мном мир нека склопи!“
Милост народу и казна тлачитељу
6 Иде време, Јаков ће се укоренити,
Израиљ ће се разгранати и процветати,
и они ће плодовима лице света прекрити.
7 Да ли је он ударио
оног што је њега ударио?
Да ли је он клао
оног што је њега клао?
8 Истерао си га, изгнао си га –
ти си њега карао.
Он ће га одувати дахом својим олујним
у дан ветра источнога.
9 Тако ће се откупити кривица Јаковљева,
а све ово је зато што је њему опроштен грех:
он ће учинити да сви камени жртвеници
буду као здробљени кречњак,
да се више не подижу
Аштартини ступови и стубови у част сунца.
10 Јер ће град утврђени остати са̂м,
напуштен и заборављен као пустиња.
Онде телад пасе,
онде лежи
и брсти му гране.
11 Кад му се круна осуши, онда се ломе;
жене долазе и оне их спаљују,
јер је то народ неразуман.
Зато им се неће смиловати његов Саздатељ,
и неће му бити наклоњен његов Градитељ.
Зов велике трубе
12 У дан онај овршиће Господ класје од тока Еуфрата до Египатског потока, и ви ћете се скупити, један по један, потомци Израиљеви. 13 У дан онај велика ће затрубити труба и доћи ће расељени по земљи асирској, и изгнани у земљу египатску, и клањаће се Господу на светој гори, у Јерусалиму.

27 Тога дана ће ГОСПОД
својим мачем, љутим, силним и јаким,
казнити левијатана, хитру змију,
левијатана, вијугаву змију;
убиће морску неман.
2 Тога дана певајте о плодном винограду.
3 Ја, ГОСПОД, његов сам чувар
и сваки час га заливам.
Дан и ноћ стражарим над њим,
да му ко не нашкоди.
4 Нисам гневан.
Да ми се бар драч и трње успротиве,
кренуо бих на њих у битку,
заједно их спалио.
5 Или, нека у мени потраже уточиште,
нека склопе мир са мном;
да, нека склопе мир са мном.
6 У данима који долазе,
Јаков ће се укоренити,
Израел пропупети и процветати
и плодовима испунити цео свет.
7 Да ли га је ударио
као што је ударио
оне који су ударали њега?
Да ли га је убио
као што су убијени
они који су убијали њега?
8 За казну га отера и изгна,
однесе га силним ветром источним.
9 Тако ће Јаковљева кривица бити поништена,
а све ово плод уклањања његовог греха:
када све каменове жртвеника
у прах смрви као кречни камен,

неће остати усправљени.
10 Пуст стоји утврђени град,

11 Кад му се гранчице осуше, одломе се,

Јер, ово је народ без памети,
па га његов Творац не жали,
његов Створитељ нема милости за њега.
12 Тога дана ће ГОСПОД вршити жито
од Еуфрата[a] до Египатског потока

13 Тога дана затрубиће велик рог,
и доћи ће они који су пропадали у Асирији
и они који су прогнани у Египат,
и поклонити се ГОСПОДУ на светој гори у Јерусалиму.

Israel Will Be Restored
27 In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong,
Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent,
(A)Leviathan that twisted serpent;
And He will slay (B)the reptile that is in the sea.
The Restoration of Israel
2 In that day (C)sing to her,
(D)“A vineyard of [a]red wine!
3 (E)I, the Lord, keep it,
I water it every moment;
Lest any hurt it,
I keep it night and day.
4 Fury is not in Me.
Who would set (F)briers and thorns
Against Me in battle?
I would go through them,
I would burn them together.
5 Or let him take hold (G)of My strength,
That he may (H)make peace with Me;
And he shall make peace with Me.”
6 Those who come He shall cause (I)to take root in Jacob;
Israel shall blossom and bud,
And fill the face of the world with fruit.
7 (J)Has He struck [b]Israel as He struck those who struck him?
Or has He been slain according to the slaughter of those who were slain by Him?
8 (K)In measure, by sending it away,
You contended with it.
(L)He removes it by His rough wind
In the day of the east wind.
9 Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be covered;
And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin:
When he makes all the stones of the altar
Like chalkstones that are beaten to dust,
[c]Wooden images and incense altars shall not stand.
10 Yet the fortified city will be (M)desolate,
The habitation forsaken and left like a wilderness;
There the calf will feed, and there it will lie down
And consume its branches.
11 When its boughs are withered, they will be broken off;
The women come and set them on fire.
For (N)it is a people of no understanding;
Therefore He who made them will (O)not have mercy on them,
And (P)He who formed them will show them no favor.
12 And it shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord will thresh,
From the channel of [d]the River to the Brook of Egypt;
And you will be (Q)gathered one by one,
O you children of Israel.
13 (R)So it shall be in that day:
(S)The great trumpet will be blown;
They will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria,
And they who are outcasts in the land of (T)Egypt,
And shall (U)worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Deliverance of Israel
27 In that day,(A)
the Lord will punish with his sword(B)—
his fierce, great and powerful sword—
Leviathan(C) the gliding serpent,(D)
Leviathan the coiling serpent;
he will slay the monster(E) of the sea.
2 In that day(F)—
“Sing(G) about a fruitful vineyard:(H)
3 I, the Lord, watch over it;
I water(I) it continually.
I guard(J) it day and night
so that no one may harm(K) it.
4 I am not angry.
If only there were briers and thorns confronting me!
I would march against them in battle;
I would set them all on fire.(L)
5 Or else let them come to me for refuge;(M)
let them make peace(N) with me,
yes, let them make peace with me.”
6 In days to come Jacob will take root,(O)
Israel will bud and blossom(P)
and fill all the world with fruit.(Q)
7 Has the Lord struck her
as he struck(R) down those who struck her?
Has she been killed
as those were killed who killed her?
8 By warfare[a] and exile(S) you contend with her—
with his fierce blast he drives her out,
as on a day the east wind(T) blows.
9 By this, then, will Jacob’s guilt be atoned(U) for,
and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin:(V)
When he makes all the altar stones(W)
to be like limestone crushed to pieces,
no Asherah poles[b](X) or incense altars(Y)
will be left standing.
10 The fortified city stands desolate,(Z)
an abandoned settlement, forsaken(AA) like the wilderness;
there the calves graze,(AB)
there they lie down;(AC)
they strip its branches bare.
11 When its twigs are dry, they are broken off(AD)
and women come and make fires(AE) with them.
For this is a people without understanding;(AF)
so their Maker has no compassion on them,
and their Creator(AG) shows them no favor.(AH)
12 In that day the Lord will thresh(AI) from the flowing Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt,(AJ) and you, Israel, will be gathered(AK) up one by one. 13 And in that day(AL) a great trumpet(AM) will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled(AN) in Egypt(AO) will come and worship(AP) the Lord on the holy mountain(AQ) in Jerusalem.
