6 И вот, непременно настанут дни, – возвещает Вечный, – когда это место больше не будут называть ни Тофетом, ни долиной Бен-Гинном, а долиной Бойни.
7 Здесь Я разрушу[a] все замыслы Иудеи и Иерусалима. Я повергну их мечом перед врагами – руками тех, кто хочет их смерти, – и отдам их трупы в пищу небесным птицам и земным зверям. 8 Я опустошу этот город и сделаю его посмешищем; все проходящие мимо будут ужасаться и злорадствовать над всеми его ранами.

6 So beware, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when people will no longer call this place Topheth(A) or the Valley of Ben Hinnom,(B) but the Valley of Slaughter.(C)
7 “‘In this place I will ruin[a] the plans(D) of Judah and Jerusalem. I will make them fall by the sword before their enemies,(E) at the hands of those who want to kill them, and I will give their carcasses(F) as food(G) to the birds and the wild animals. 8 I will devastate this city and make it an object of horror and scorn;(H) all who pass by will be appalled(I) and will scoff because of all its wounds.(J)
