Вознесение Исо Масеха на небеса
1 В моём первом повествовании[a], Феофил, я написал обо всём, что Исо делал и чему Он учил от начала 2 до того дня, когда, дав через Святого Духа повеления избранным Им посланникам, Он вознёсся на небеса. 3 После Своего страдания Он представал перед этими людьми живым со многими доказательствами. Исо являлся им в течение сорока дней и говорил о Царстве Всевышнего. 4 Однажды, обедая вместе с ними[b], Он велел им:
– Не покидайте Иерусалима, но ждите того, что обещал Небесный Отец, о чём вы и слышали от Меня. 5 Яхьё совершал обряд, погружая людей в воду, а вы через несколько дней будете погружены в Святого Духа.[c]
6 Когда ученики собрались вместе, они спросили Его:
– Повелитель, не настало ли время Тебе восстановить царство Исроила?[d]
7 Он сказал им:
– Не ваше дело знать времена и сроки, которые Небесный Отец установил Своей властью. 8 Когда на вас сойдёт Святой Дух, вы получите силу и будете Моими свидетелями в Иерусалиме, по всей Иудее, в Сомарии и до края земли.
9 Сказав это, Он на их глазах был поднят ввысь, и облако скрыло Его от их взглядов.
10 Они пристально смотрели в небо, пока Он поднимался, как вдруг рядом с ними оказались два человека в белых одеждах.
11 – Галилеяне, – сказали они, – что вы стоите и смотрите в небо? Этот Исо, Который был взят от вас в небеса, придёт точно таким же образом, каким на ваших глазах вознёсся.

12 После этого они возвратились в Иерусалим с горы, называемой Оливковой, которая находится на расстоянии субботнего пути[e] от Иерусалима. 13 Придя, они поднялись в верхнюю комнату и там оставались – Петрус и Иохан, Якуб и Андер, Филипп и Фома, Варфоломей и Матто, Якуб, сын Алфея, Шимон Зилот[f] и Иуда, сын Якуба. 14 Все они единодушно пребывали в молитве. С ними были и несколько женщин, а также мать Исо Марьям и Его братья.
15 В те дни Петрус встал посреди верующих (в собрании было около ста двадцати человек) 16 и сказал:
– Братья, должно было исполниться Писание, где Святой Дух предсказал через царя Довуда об Иуде, который вёл тех, кто шёл арестовать Исо. 17 Иуда был одним из нас и принимал участие в нашем служении. 18 На деньги, полученные за совершённое им зло, он купил поле,[g] но, упав вниз головой,[h] он разбился, и его внутренности вывалились наружу. 19 Об этом узнали все жители Иерусалима и прозвали поле на своём языке[i] Хакалдема, то есть «Поле Крови». 20 Ведь в книге Забур написано:
«Пусть его жилище придёт в запустение,
пусть никто там больше не живёт»[j]
и:
«Пусть другой займёт его положение»[k].
21 – Поэтому нам необходимо выбрать одного из тех людей, кто сопровождал нас всё то время, когда Повелитель Исо был среди нас, 22 начиная с того времени, когда Яхьё совершил над Ним обряд погружения в воду[l] и до того дня, когда Исо был взят от нас. Он, как и мы, должен быть свидетелем Его воскресения.
23 Предложили двоих: Юсуфа, которого ещё называют Бар-Саббой или Иустом, и Матфия. 24 И помолились:
– Вечный Повелитель, Ты знаешь сердце каждого; укажи на одного из этих двоих, кого Ты избрал 25 на это служение: быть Твоим посланником вместо Иуды, который ушёл, куда ему суждено.
26 Потом они бросили жребий, и жребий выпал на Матфия, который и был причислен к одиннадцати посланникам Масеха[m].

4 (E)And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have (F)heard from Me; 5 (G)for John truly baptized with water, (H)but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, (I)“It is not for you to (J)know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 (K)But you shall receive power (L)when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and (M)you shall be [c]witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and (N)Samaria, and to the (O)end of the earth.”

9 (Q)Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, (R)He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them (S)in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, (T)will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.
18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.
20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.
21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.
24 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,
25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.
26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
