12 ως δε ηγγισεν τη πυλη της πολεως και ιδου εξεκομιζετο τεθνηκως μονογενης υιος τη μητρι αυτου και αυτη ην χηρα και οχλος της πολεως ικανος ην συν αυτη
13 και ιδων αυτην ο κυριος εσπλαγχνισθη επ αυτη και ειπεν αυτη μη κλαιε
14 και προσελθων ηψατο της σορου οι δε βασταζοντες εστησαν και ειπεν νεανισκε σοι λεγω εγερθητι
15 και ανεκαθισεν ο νεκρος και ηρξατο λαλειν και εδωκεν αυτον τη μητρι αυτου

18 και απηγγειλαν ιωαννη οι μαθηται αυτου περι παντων τουτων
19 και προσκαλεσαμενος δυο τινας των μαθητων αυτου ο ιωαννης επεμψεν προς τον κυριον λεγων συ ει ο ερχομενος η ετερον προσδοκωμεν
20 παραγενομενοι δε προς αυτον οι ανδρες ειπαν ιωαννης ο βαπτιστης απεστειλεν ημας προς σε λεγων συ ει ο ερχομενος η αλλον προσδοκωμεν
21 εν εκεινη τη ωρα εθεραπευσεν πολλους απο νοσων και μαστιγων και πνευματων πονηρων και τυφλοις πολλοις εχαρισατο βλεπειν
22 και αποκριθεις ειπεν αυτοις πορευθεντες απαγγειλατε ιωαννη α ειδετε και ηκουσατε τυφλοι αναβλεπουσιν χωλοι περιπατουσιν λεπροι καθαριζονται και κωφοι ακουουσιν νεκροι εγειρονται πτωχοι ευαγγελιζονται
23 και μακαριος εστιν ος εαν μη σκανδαλισθη εν εμοι
24 απελθοντων δε των αγγελων ιωαννου ηρξατο λεγειν προς τους οχλους περι ιωαννου τι εξηλθατε εις την ερημον θεασασθαι καλαμον υπο ανεμου σαλευομενον
25 αλλα τι εξηλθατε ιδειν ανθρωπον εν μαλακοις ιματιοις ημφιεσμενον ιδου οι εν ιματισμω ενδοξω και τρυφη υπαρχοντες εν τοις βασιλειοις εισιν
26 αλλα τι εξηλθατε ιδειν προφητην ναι λεγω υμιν και περισσοτερον προφητου
27 ουτος εστιν περι ου γεγραπται ιδου αποστελλω τον αγγελον μου προ προσωπου σου ος κατασκευασει την οδον σου εμπροσθεν σου
28 λεγω υμιν μειζων εν γεννητοις γυναικων ιωαννου ουδεις εστιν ο δε μικροτερος εν τη βασιλεια του θεου μειζων αυτου εστιν
29 και πας ο λαος ακουσας και οι τελωναι εδικαιωσαν τον θεον βαπτισθεντες το βαπτισμα ιωαννου
30 οι δε φαρισαιοι και οι νομικοι την βουλην του θεου ηθετησαν εις εαυτους μη βαπτισθεντες υπ αυτου
31 τινι ουν ομοιωσω τους ανθρωπους της γενεας ταυτης και τινι εισιν ομοιοι
32 ομοιοι εισιν παιδιοις τοις εν αγορα καθημενοις και προσφωνουσιν αλληλοις α λεγει ηυλησαμεν υμιν και ουκ ωρχησασθε εθρηνησαμεν και ουκ εκλαυσατε
33 εληλυθεν γαρ ιωαννης ο βαπτιστης μη εσθιων αρτον μητε πινων οινον και λεγετε δαιμονιον εχει
34 εληλυθεν ο υιος του ανθρωπου εσθιων και πινων και λεγετε ιδου ανθρωπος φαγος και οινοποτης φιλος τελωνων και αμαρτωλων
35 και εδικαιωθη η σοφια απο παντων των τεκνων αυτης
36 ηρωτα δε τις αυτον των φαρισαιων ινα φαγη μετ αυτου και εισελθων εις τον οικον του φαρισαιου κατεκλιθη
37 και ιδου γυνη ητις ην εν τη πολει αμαρτωλος και επιγνουσα οτι κατακειται εν τη οικια του φαρισαιου κομισασα αλαβαστρον μυρου
38 και στασα οπισω παρα τους ποδας αυτου κλαιουσα τοις δακρυσιν ηρξατο βρεχειν τους ποδας αυτου και ταις θριξιν της κεφαλης αυτης εξεμασσεν και κατεφιλει τους ποδας αυτου και ηλειφεν τω μυρω
39 ιδων δε ο φαρισαιος ο καλεσας αυτον ειπεν εν εαυτω λεγων ουτος ει ην [ο] προφητης εγινωσκεν αν τις και ποταπη η γυνη ητις απτεται αυτου οτι αμαρτωλος εστιν
40 και αποκριθεις ο ιησους ειπεν προς αυτον σιμων εχω σοι τι ειπειν ο δε διδασκαλε ειπε φησιν
41 δυο χρεοφειλεται ησαν δανιστη τινι ο εις ωφειλεν δηναρια πεντακοσια ο δε ετερος πεντηκοντα
42 μη εχοντων αυτων αποδουναι αμφοτεροις εχαρισατο τις ουν αυτων πλειον αγαπησει αυτον
43 αποκριθεις σιμων ειπεν υπολαμβανω οτι ω το πλειον εχαρισατο ο δε ειπεν αυτω ορθως εκρινας

7 Закончив говорить народу, Исо отправился в Капернаум. 2 Там у одного римского офицера был болен и лежал при смерти раб. Офицер очень дорожил этим своим рабом, 3 и когда он услышал об Исо, то послал к Нему иудейских старейшин с просьбой прийти и исцелить его раба. 4 Старейшины пришли к Исо и стали горячо просить Его:
– Этот человек заслуживает Твоей помощи, 5 потому что он любит наш народ, и это он построил нам молитвенный дом.
6 Исо пошёл с ними. Он уже подходил к дому, когда офицер послал к Нему друзей передать:
– Господин, не утруждай Себя, так как я не достоин, чтобы Ты вошёл под крышу моего дома. 7 Я и себя не счёл достойным прийти к Тебе. Но скажи слово, и мой слуга выздоровеет. 8 Ведь и сам я подчиняюсь приказам, и у меня в подчинении тоже есть воины. Я говорю одному: «Ступай!» – и он идёт, другому: «Ко мне!» – и тот приходит. Рабу моему говорю: «Сделай это!» – и он делает.
9 Исо, услышав это, удивился и, обернувшись к толпе, шедшей за Ним, сказал:
– Говорю вам, что даже в Исроиле Я не встречал такой сильной веры.
10 Когда посланные возвратились в дом, они нашли раба здоровым.
Воскрешение сына вдовы
11 Вскоре после этого Исо пошёл в город, называемый Наин, с Ним были Его ученики и много других людей. 12 Когда Он подходил к воротам города, из них выносили умершего, единственного сына у матери, а она была вдовой. Вместе с ней из города выходила большая толпа. 13 Когда Повелитель увидел эту женщину, Он сжалился над ней.
– Не плачь, – сказал Он ей.
14 Затем Он подошёл и прикоснулся к носилкам. Те, кто нёс их, остановились, и Исо сказал:
– Юноша, говорю тебе: встань!
15 Умерший сел и начал говорить, и Исо передал его матери[a]. 16 Всех, кто там был, охватил страх, и люди прославляли Всевышнего:

18 Ученики Яхьё рассказали ему обо всех этих событиях. 19 И тогда Яхьё позвал к себе двоих из них и послал их к Повелителю спросить:
– Ты ли Тот, Кто должен прийти,[b] или нам ожидать кого-то другого?
20 Они пришли к Исо и сказали:
– Пророк Яхьё[c] послал нас к Тебе спросить: Ты ли Тот, Кто должен прийти, или нам ожидать кого-то другого?
21 Исо как раз в это время исцелил множество людей от болезней, недугов, от одержимости злыми духами и многим слепым даровал зрение. 22 И Он ответил посланным:
– Пойдите и расскажите Яхьё о том, что вы увидели и услышали: слепые прозревают, хромые ходят, прокажённые очищаются, глухие слышат, мёртвые воскресают и бедным возвещается Радостная Весть.[d] 23 Благословен тот, кто не усомнится во Мне.
Свидетельство Исо Масеха о пророке Яхьё(C)
24 Когда посланцы Яхьё ушли, Исо начал говорить народу об Яхьё:
– Что вы ходили смотреть в пустыню? Тростник, колеблемый ветром?[e] 25 Тогда что же вы ходили смотреть? Человека, одетого в роскошные одежды? Нет, те, кто одевается в дорогую одежду и живёт в роскоши, находятся в царских дворцах. 26 Тогда что же вы ходили смотреть? Пророка? Да, и говорю вам, что больше, чем пророка. 27 Он тот, о ком написано:
«Вот, впереди Тебя (Масеха) посылаю Я вестника Моего,
который приготовит Твой путь перед Тобою»[f].
28 Говорю вам, среди всех, кто когда-либо был рождён на земле, нет более великого, чем Яхьё. Но наименьший в Царстве Всевышнего – больше его.[g] 29 И весь народ, и даже сборщики налогов, услышав слова Яхьё, признали путь Всевышнего правым, пройдя у него обряд погружения в воду[h]. 30 Блюстители же Закона и учители Таврота, отказавшись пройти у него обряд погружения в воду, тем самым отвергли волю Всевышнего.[i]
31 – С кем тогда Мне сравнить людей этого поколения? – продолжал Исо. – На кого они похожи? 32 Они как капризные дети, которые сидят на площади и кричат друг другу:
«Мы играли вам на свирели,
а вы не плясали;
мы пели вам погребальные песни,
а вы не плакали».
33 Смотрите, вот пришёл пророк Яхьё, не ест хлеба и не пьёт вина, и вы говорите: «В нём демон». 34 Пришёл Ниспосланный как Человек, ест и пьёт, и вы говорите: «Вот обжора и пьяница, друг сборщиков налогов и грешников». 35 Но мудрость Всевышнего видна в её делах.[j]

36 Один из блюстителей Закона пригласил Исо к себе на обед. Исо пришёл к нему в дом и возлёг у стола. 37 В это время одна женщина из этого города, которая была известна как грешница, узнав, что Исо обедает в доме блюстителя Закона, принесла туда алебастровый кувшин, в котором было очень дорогое ароматическое масло. 38 Женщина встала сзади у ног Исо и, плача, обливала Его ноги слезами. Она стала вытирать Ему ноги своими волосами, целовала их и натирала ароматическим маслом. 39 Когда блюститель Закона, пригласивший Исо, увидел это, он подумал: «Если бы Этот Человек действительно был пророком, то Он бы знал, что женщина, которая к Нему прикасается, – грешница». 40 Тогда Исо сказал ему:
– Шимон, Я хочу тебе что-то сказать.

41 – Два человека были должны одному и тому же заимодавцу, – начал Исо. – Один должен был пятьсот серебряных монет[k], а другой – пятьдесят. 42 И тому и другому было нечем вернуть долг, и кредитор простил долг им обоим. Кто из них, по-твоему, будет больше любить его?
43 Шимон ответил:
– Я думаю, тот, кому был прощён больший долг.
– Ты правильно рассудил, – сказал Исо. 44 И, повернувшись к женщине, сказал Шимону:
– Ты видишь эту женщину? Я пришёл в твой дом, и ты не дал Мне даже воды, чтобы вымыть ноги, а она омыла Мои ноги слезами и вытерла своими волосами! 45 Ты даже не поцеловал Меня при встрече, а эта женщина, с тех пор как Я вошёл в дом, не перестаёт целовать Мне ноги. 46 Ты не помазал Мне голову маслом, а она драгоценным ароматическим маслом помазала Мне ноги. 47 Поэтому Я говорю тебе: ей прощены все грехи, из-за этого она и возлюбила так сильно. А тот, кому мало прощено, и любит мало.
48 Потом Исо сказал женщине:
– Твои грехи прощены.
49 Но другие гости, возлежащие за столом, подумали про себя: «Кто Он такой, что даже грехи прощает?»

– Твоя вера спасла тебя, иди с миром.

Jesus Heals a Centurion’s Servant(A)
7 Now when He concluded all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He (B)entered Capernaum. 2 And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. 3 So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant. 4 And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving, 5 “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.”
6 Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. 7 Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But (C)say the word, and my servant will be healed. 8 For I also am a man placed under (D)authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
9 When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” 10 And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well [a]who had been sick.
Jesus Raises the Son of the Widow of Nain
11 Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. 12 And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, He had (E)compassion on her and said to her, (F)“Do not weep.” 14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, (G)arise.” 15 So he who was dead (H)sat up and began to speak. And He (I)presented him to his mother.
16 (J)Then fear [b]came upon all, and they (K)glorified God, saying, (L)“A great prophet has risen up among us”; and, (M)“God has visited His people.” 17 And this report about Him went throughout all Judea and all the surrounding region.
John the Baptist Sends Messengers to Jesus(N)
18 (O)Then the disciples of John reported to him concerning all these things. 19 And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to [c]Jesus, saying, “Are You (P)the Coming One, or [d]do we look for another?”
20 When the men had come to Him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?’ ” 21 And that very hour He cured many of [e]infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight.
22 (Q)Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: (R)that the blind (S)see, the lame (T)walk, the lepers are (U)cleansed, the deaf (V)hear, the dead are raised, (W)the poor have the gospel preached to them. 23 And blessed is he who is not [f]offended because of Me.”
24 (X)When the messengers of John had departed, He began to speak to the multitudes concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? 25 But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed those who are gorgeously appareled and live in luxury are in kings’ courts. 26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. 27 This is he of whom it is written:
(Y)‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,
Who will prepare Your way before You.’
28 For I say to you, among those born of women there is [g]not a (Z)greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”
29 And when all the people heard Him, even the tax collectors [h]justified God, (AA)having been baptized with the baptism of John. 30 But the Pharisees and [i]lawyers rejected (AB)the will of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.
31 [j]And the Lord said, (AC)“To what then shall I liken the men of this generation, and what are they like? 32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another, saying:
‘We played the flute for you,
And you did not dance;
We mourned to you,
And you did not weep.’
33 For (AD)John the Baptist came (AE)neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ 34 The Son of Man has come (AF)eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look, a glutton and a [k]winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ 35 (AG)But wisdom is justified by all her children.”
A Sinful Woman Forgiven
36 (AH)Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. 37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38 and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. 39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, (AI)“This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”
40 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”
So he said, “Teacher, say it.”
41 “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred (AJ)denarii, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?”
43 Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.”
And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” 44 Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no (AK)water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. 45 You gave Me no (AL)kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46 (AM)You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47 (AN)Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”
48 Then He said to her, (AO)“Your sins are forgiven.”
49 And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, (AP)“Who is this who even forgives sins?”
50 Then He said to the woman, (AQ)“Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:
7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.
8 For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
10 And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.
11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.
17 And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.
18 And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.
19 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.
22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
24 And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
25 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.
26 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.
27 This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
29 And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.
31 And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?
32 They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.
33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.
34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!
35 But wisdom is justified of all her children.
36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.
37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
