耶稣死里复活
24 周日黎明时分，几位妇女带着预备好的香料来到坟前， 2 发现墓口的大石头已经滚到旁边， 3 便进去，却没有看见主耶稣的遗体。 4 正在猜疑之间，突然有两个衣服发光的人站在旁边， 5 她们吓得俯伏在地。那两个人对她们说：“你们为什么在死人中找活人呢？ 6 祂不在这里，已经复活了！记住祂在加利利对你们说的话， 7 ‘人子必须被交在罪人的手中，被钉在十字架上，在第三天复活。’”
8 她们想起耶稣的话来， 9 便离开墓地回去把事情的经过告诉十一个使徒和其他人。 10 这些妇女就是抹大拉的玛丽亚、约亚娜、雅各的母亲玛丽亚及其他人。
11 大家听了都不相信，认为是无稽之谈。 12 彼得却起身跑到墓地，屈身往墓里张望，只见细麻布在那里，他便离开了，对发生的事大惑不解。
耶稣的显现
13 同一天，有两个门徒前往离耶路撒冷十一公里的以马忤斯村， 14 一路谈论着最近发生的一切事。 15 正谈论的时候，耶稣走过来和他们同行。 16 可是，他们认不出耶稣。
17 耶稣问他们：“你们一路上在谈论什么？”
他们停下脚步，满面愁容， 18 其中一个叫革流巴的说：“难道在耶路撒冷作客的人中，只有你不知道近日发生的大事吗？”
19 耶稣问：“什么事？”
他们说：“就是拿撒勒人耶稣的事。祂本来是个先知，在上帝和百姓面前言谈举止充满力量。 20 我们的祭司长和官长却把祂押去判了死刑，钉在十字架上。
21 “我们一直希望祂就是要拯救以色列的那位。还有，今天是事发后的第三天， 22 我们当中有几位妇女一早到耶稣的坟墓， 23 发现耶稣的遗体不见了，回来说天使曾向她们显现并告诉她们耶稣已经复活了。
24 “后来我们有几个人亲自去坟墓察看，果然像她们所说的，耶稣的遗体不见了。”
25 耶稣对他们说：“无知的人啊！为什么迟迟不肯相信先知的话呢？ 26 基督岂不是要先这样受害，然后进入祂的荣耀吗？”
27 耶稣接着从摩西和众先知的记载开始，把有关自己的经文都向他们讲解明白。
28 快到以马忤斯村时，耶稣好像还要继续前行。 29 他们极力挽留祂，说：“天快黑了，时候不早了，跟我们一同住宿吧。”耶稣就和他们一起进村住下。
30 吃饭的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝谢后，掰开递给他们。 31 忽然他们眼睛明亮了，认出是耶稣。耶稣很快从他们眼前消失了。
32 二人彼此议论说：“一路上祂和我们说话、为我们解释圣经的时候，我们心里不是很火热吗？” 33 二人马上赶回耶路撒冷，看到十一位使徒及其同伴正聚在一起谈论： 34 “主真的复活了，祂向西门显现了。”
35 二人也把路上发生的事以及掰饼时认出主的经过述说了一遍。
36 正说的时候，耶稣出现在他们中间，说：“愿你们平安！” 37 他们又惊又怕，以为是看见了鬼魂。
38 耶稣说：“你们为什么忧心忡忡？为什么心存疑惑呢？ 39 你们看我的手和脚，就知道真的是我。来摸摸看，鬼魂没有骨和肉，你们看！我有。” 40 说完，便伸出手和脚给他们看。
41 门徒又惊又喜，半信半疑。耶稣问：“你们这里有吃的吗？” 42 他们便给祂一片烤鱼， 43 祂接过鱼来在他们面前吃了。
44 耶稣对他们说：“我跟你们在一起的时候曾经说过，摩西的律法书、先知的书以及诗篇里有关我的记载都要应验。” 45 于是，耶稣开启了他们的心窍，使他们明白这些经文， 46 又对他们说：“圣经上说，基督必受害，然后在第三天从死里复活， 47 人们要奉祂的名传扬悔改、赦罪的福音，从耶路撒冷一直传遍万国。
48 “你们是这些事的见证人， 49 我要把我父所应许的赐给你们。不过，你们要留在城里，直到你们得到天上来的能力。”
耶稣升天
50 耶稣带着门徒来到伯大尼附近，举起双手为他们祝福。 51 正祝福的时候，祂就离开了他们，被接到天上去了。 52 门徒都敬拜祂，然后欢欢喜喜地回到耶路撒冷。 53 他们常在圣殿里赞美上帝。

24 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 And they remembered his words,
9 And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
10 It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.
12 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.
13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;
23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
43 And he took it, and did eat before them.
44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 And ye are witnesses of these things.
49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
53 And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

24 வாரத்தின் முதல் நாளில் அதிகாலைப் பொழுதில் இயேசுவின் உடல் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த கல்லறைக்குப் பெண்கள் வந்தார்கள். தாம் தயாரித்த மணமிக்க பொருட்களை அவர்கள் எடுத்து வந்திருந்தார்கள். 2 ஒரு பெருங்கல் கல்லறையின் நுழை வாசலில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. அந்தக் கல் உருண்டு போயிருந்ததை அப்பெண்கள் கண்டார்கள். 3 அவர்கள் உள்ளே சென்றார்கள். ஆனால் இயேசுவின் உடல் அங்கு இருக்கவில்லை. 4 அப்பெண்கள் இதைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை. அவர்கள் அதைக்குறித்து ஆச்சரியப்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கையில் திடீரென்று ஒளிமிக்க ஆடை அணிந்தவர்களாக இரண்டு தேவ தூதர்கள் அவர்களருகே நின்றார்கள். 5 அப்பெண்கள் மிகவும் பயந்தார்கள். அந்த இரு மனிதரும் அப்பெண்களை நோக்கி, “உயிரோடு இருக்கிற ஒருவரை ஏன் இங்கு தேடுகிறீர்கள்? இது இறந்தோருக்குரிய இடம். 6 இயேசு இங்கே இல்லை. அவர் மரணத்தினின்று எழுந்தார். 7 தீயோரிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டு சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்டு கொல்லப்படுவார் எனவும், மூன்றாம் நாளில் மரணத்தின்று எழுவார் எனவும் இயேசு கலிலேயாவில் சொன்னது ஞாபகம் இருக்கிறதா?” என்றார்கள். 8 அப்போது இயேசு கூறியவற்றை அப்பெண்கள் நினைவுகூர்ந்தார்கள்.
9 அப்பெண்கள் கல்லறையை விட்டுப் போய், பதினொரு சீஷர்களும், மற்றவர்களும் இருக்கும் இடத்துக்குச் சென்றார்கள். கல்லறையின் அருகே நடந்த நிகழ்ச்சிகள் அனைத்தையும் அப்பெண்கள் அவர்களுக்குக் கூறினார்கள். 10 அவர்கள் மகதலேனா மரியாள், யோவன்னா, யாக்கோபின் தாயாகிய மரியாள், வேறு சில பெண்கள் ஆகியோர். அப்பெண்கள் நடந்த அனைத்தையும் சீஷர்களுக்குச் சொன்னார்கள். 11 அப்பெண்கள் கூறியவற்றை சீஷர்கள் நம்பவில்லை. அது விசித்திரமான பேச்சாக இருந்தது. 12 ஆனால் பேதுரு எழுந்து அது உண்மையா எனப் பார்க்கக் கல்லறைக்கு ஓடினான். அவன் உள்ளே பார்த்து இயேசுவின் உடலைச் சுற்றி வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த துணிகள் மட்டுமே கிடப்பதைக் கண்டான். இயேசுவைக் காணவில்லை. இயேசு சென்றுவிட்டிருந்தார். நடந்தவற்றைக் குறித்து ஆச்சரியப்பட்டவனாகப் பேதுரு தனித்திருக்க விரும்பிச் சென்றான்.
எம்மாவூர் சென்ற சீஷர்கள்

13 எம்மா என்னும் ஊருக்கு அதே நாள் இயேசுவின் இரண்டு சீஷர்கள் சென்றுகொண்டிருந்தார்கள். எருசலேமில் இருந்து ஏழு மைல் தூரத்தில் அந்த ஊர் இருந்தது. 14 நடந்தவை அனைத்தையும் குறித்து அவர்கள் பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். 15 அவர்கள் இவற்றை விவாதித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது இயேசு அருகே வந்து அவர்களோடு நடந்தார். 16 (இயேசுவை அடையாளம் கண்டுகொள்வதிலிருந்து ஏதோ ஒன்றால் அவர்கள் தடுக்கப்பட்டார்கள்) 17 “நீங்கள், நடக்கும்போது பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்த விஷயங்கள் என்ன?” என்று இயேசு கேட்டார்.

19 அவர்களை நோக்கி, இயேசு, “நீங்கள் எதைக்குறித்துப் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்?” என்றார்.
அம்மனிதர்கள் அவரை நோக்கி, “நாசரேத்தில் உள்ள இயேசுவைக் குறித்துப் பேசுகிறோம். தேவனுக்கும் மக்களுக்கும் அவர் ஒரு பெரிய தீர்க்கதரிசி. அவர் பல ஆற்றல் மிக்க காரியங்களைச் சொல்லியும் செய்தும் வந்திருக்கிறார். 20 ஆனால் தலைமை ஆசாரியரும் நம் தலைவர்களும் அவர் நியாயந்தீர்க்கப்பட்டுக் கொல்லப்படுமாறு கொடுத்துவிட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் இயேசுவைச் சிலுவையில் அறைந்தார்கள். 21 இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை விடுவிப்பவர் இயேசு ஒருவரே என நாங்கள் நம்பிக் கொண்டிருந்தோம். ஆனால் இப்படி நடந்துள்ளது. இயேசு கொல்லப்பட்டு மூன்று நாட்களாகிவிட்டன. 22 இன்று எங்கள் பெண்களில் சிலர் எங்களுக்குச் சில ஆச்சரியமான தகவல்களைச் சொன்னார்கள். இன்று அப்பெண்கள் அதிகாலையில் இயேசுவின் உடல் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த கல்லறைக்குச் சென்றார்கள். 23 ஆனால் அவரது உடலை அங்கே காணவில்லை. அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு காட்சியில் தரிசனமான இரண்டு தேவதூதர்களைப் பார்த்தார்கள். ‘இயேசு உயிரோடு இருக்கிறார்’ என அவர்கள் சொன்னார்கள் என்று அப்பெண்கள் வந்து எங்களிடம் சொன்னார்கள். 24 அதன் பின்பு எங்களில் சிலரும் கல்லறைக்குச் சென்றார்கள். பெண்கள் சொன்னபடியே இருந்தது. கல்லறை வெறுமையாக இருந்ததை அவர்கள் பார்த்தார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் இயேசுவைப் பார்க்கவில்லை” என்றார்கள்.
25 பின்பு இயேசு இருவரிடமும், “நீங்கள் அறிவற்றவர்கள். உண்மையை மிகவும் தாமதமாக உணர்ந்துகொள்கிறீர்கள். தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தையையும் நீங்கள் நம்பவேண்டும். 26 கிறிஸ்து தன் மகிமையில் நுழையும்முன்பு இவ்வாறு துன்புற வேண்டும் என்று தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் கூறி இருந்தார்கள்” என்றார். 27 பிற்பாடு சுவடிகளில் தன்னைப்பற்றி எழுதிய ஒவ்வொன்றைப்பற்றியும் இயேசு விளக்க ஆரம்பித்தார். மோசேயின் புத்தகங்கள் தொடங்கி தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் வரைக்கும் இயேசுவைக் குறித்துக் கூறியவற்றை அவர் சொன்னார்.
28 அவர்கள் எம்மாவூர் என்னும் ஊரை அடைந்தார்கள். தன் பயணத்தைத் தொடர விரும்பியது போல இயேசு நடித்தார். 29 ஆனால் அவர்கள் அவர் அங்கே தங்கவேண்டுமென விரும்பினார்கள். அவர்கள் இயேசுவை “எங்களுடன் தங்குங்கள். மிகவும் தாமதமாகிவிட்டது. எங்கும் இருள் சூழ்ந்துவிட்டது” என்று கெஞ்சிக் கேட்டார்கள். எனவே அவர் அவர்களோடு தங்கச் சென்றார்.
30 அவர்களோடு சேர்ந்து இயேசு உணவுண்ண உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார். உணவுக்காக நன்றி சொல்லிவிட்டு, உணவைப் பகிர்ந்தார். 31 அப்போது அம்மனிதர் இயேசுவை அடையாளம் கண்டுகொள்ள முடிந்தது. அவர் யார் என அவர்கள் உணர்ந்துகொண்டதும், அவர் மறைந்துவிட்டார். 32 இருவரும் தமக்குள்ளாக, “பாதையில் நம்முடன் இயேசு பேசிக்கொண்டு வந்தபோது ஏதோ எரிவதுப்போல் ஓர் உணர்வு இதயத்தில் எழுந்தது. வேதாகமத்தின் பொருளை அவர் விளக்கியபோது மிகவும் பரவசமாக இருந்தது” என்று பேசிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
33 பின்பு அவர்கள் எழுந்து திரும்பி எருசலேமை நோக்கிச் சென்றார்கள். எருசலேமில் இயேசுவின் சீஷர்கள் ஒன்றாகக் கூடியிருக்கக் கண்டார்கள். பதினொரு சீஷர்களும் அவர்களோடிருந்த மக்களும் 34 “மரணத்தினின்று உண்மையாகவே அவர் மீண்டும் எழுந்தார்” சீமோனுக்கு (பேதுருவுக்கு) அவர் காட்சியளித்தார் என்றார்கள்.
35 அப்போது பாதையில் நடந்த விஷயங்களை இரு மனிதர்களும் கூறினார்கள். உணவைப் பங்கிட்டபோது எவ்வாறு இயேசுவை அடையாளம் கண்டுகொண்டார்கள் எனச் சொன்னார்கள்.
சீஷர்களுக்கு இயேசுவின் காட்சி

36 அவர்கள் இருவரும் இவற்றைக் கூறிக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது சீஷர்களின் கூட்டத்தின் நடுவில் இயேசு நின்றிருந்தார். இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி, “உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் உண்டாவதாக” என்றார்.
37 சீஷர்களுக்கு இது ஆச்சரியத்தைக் கொடுத்தது. அவர்கள் பயந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் ஏதோ ஒரு ஆவியைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருப்பதாக எண்ணினார்கள். 38 ஆனால் இயேசு, “நீங்கள் எதற்காகக் குழப்பம் அடைந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்? நீங்கள் காண்பதில் ஏன் ஐயம்கொள்கின்றீர்கள்? 39 என் கைகளையும் என் பாதங்களையும் பாருங்கள். உண்மையாகவே நான்தான். என்னைத் தொடுங்கள். எனக்கு உயிருள்ள உடல் இருப்பதைப் பார்க்க முடியும். ஓர் ஆவி இப்படிப்பட்ட உடல் கொண்டிருக்காது” என்றார்.
40 இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு இதைக் கூறிய பின்பு, அவர்களுக்குத் தன் கைகளிலும், பாதங்களிலும் உள்ள ஆணித் துளைகளைக் காட்டினார். 41 சீஷர்கள் ஆச்சரியமுற்றவர்களாக இயேசுவை உயிரோடு பார்த்ததால் மிகவும் மகிழ்ந்தார்கள். எனினும் கூட தாம் பார்த்ததை அவர்களால் நம்பமுடியவில்லை. அவர்களை நோக்கி இயேசு, “உங்களிடம் இங்கே ஏதாவது உணவு இருக்கிறதா?” என்று கேட்டார். 42 அவர்கள் சமைத்த மீனில் ஒரு துண்டைக் கொடுத்தார்கள். 43 சீஷர்களின் முன்னிலையில் இயேசு அந்த மீனை எடுத்து சாப்பிட்டார்.
44 அவர்களை நோக்கி இயேசு, “நான் உங்களோடு இருந்த காலத்தை ஞாபகப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுங்கள். மோசேயின் சட்டத்திலும், தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் நூற்களிலும், சங்கீதத்திலும் என்னைப்பற்றி எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிற அனைத்தும் நடந்தேயாக வேண்டும் என்று நான் சொன்னேன்” என்றார்.
45 பின்பு இயேசு சீஷர்களுக்கு வேதாகமத்தை விளக்கினார். தன்னைப்பற்றி எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிற காரியங்களை அவர்கள் புரிந்துகொள்வதற்கு உதவினார். 46 பிறகு அவர்களை நோக்கி, “கிறிஸ்து கொல்லப்பட்டு மூன்றாம் நாள் மரணத்தில் இருந்து எழுவார் என்று எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. 47-48 நீங்கள் நடந்தவை அனைத்தையும் பார்த்தீர்கள். நீங்களே சாட்சிகள். மக்களுடைய பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட முடியும் என்று நீங்கள் போய் அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்ல வேண்டும். அவர்கள் தம் மனம் மாறி, தாம் செய்த பாவங்களுக்காக வருந்த வேண்டும் என்பதை அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள். அதைச் செய்தால் அவர்கள் தேவனால் மன்னிக்கப்படுவர். எருசலேமிலிருந்து நீங்கள் புறப்பட்டு என் பெயரில் இவற்றைப் போதிக்க வேண்டும். உலகத்தில் உள்ள எல்லா மக்களுக்கும் இந்த நற்செய்தி கூறப்பட வேண்டும். 49 கவனியுங்கள், என் பிதா உங்களுக்கு வாக்குறுதி கொடுத்துள்ளார். அதை உங்களுக்கு அனுப்புவேன். விண்ணில் இருந்து அந்த வல்லமையை நீங்கள் பெறும்வரைக்கும் எருசலேமில் தங்கி இருக்கவேண்டும்” என்றார்.

50 எருசலேமில் இருந்து பெத்தானியா வரைக்கும் இயேசு சீஷர்களை அழைத்துச் சென்றார். பின்பு கைகளை உயர்த்தி அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்தார். 51 இயேசு அவர்களை வாழ்த்தும்போது அவர்களிடமிருந்து பிரிக்கப்பட்டு பரலோகத்திற்கு எடுத்துச்செல்லப்பட்டார். 52 சீஷர்கள் அவரை அங்கே வணங்கினர். பிறகு எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றார்கள். அவர்கள் மிகவும் மகிழ்வோடு இருந்தார்கள். 53 தேவனை வாழ்த்தியவாறே எப்போதும் அவர்கள் தேவாலயத்தில் தங்கி இருந்தார்கள்.
