²⁶ For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He ^(A)gave to the Son also to have life in Himself; ²⁷ and He gave Him authority to ^(B)execute judgment, because He is ^[a]the Son of Man.

⁵ and hope ^(A)does not disappoint, because the love of God has been ^(B)poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

⁶ For while we were still ^(C)helpless, ^(D)at the right time ^(E)Christ died for the ungodly. ⁷ For one will hardly die for a righteous person; ^[a]though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die.

¹⁷ for the kingdom of God ^(A)is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and ^(B)peace and ^(C)joy in the Holy Spirit.

²² But ^(A)the fruit of the Spirit is ^(B)love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

²³ gentleness, ^(A)self-control; against such things ^(B)there is no law.

^4 (A)In Him was life, and the life was ^(B)the Light of mankind.

^13 (A)who were ^[a]born, not of ^[b]blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.
