⁵and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness,^(A) the firstborn from the dead^(B) and the ruler of the kings of the earth.^(C)

To him who loves us and has set us free^[a] from our sins by his blood,^(D) ⁶and made us a kingdom,^[b] priests^[c]^(E) to his God and Father—to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.^(F)
