¹³ And do not offer any parts^[a] of it to sin^(A) as weapons for unrighteousness. But as those who are alive from the dead, offer yourselves to God,^(B) and all the parts^[b] of yourselves to God as weapons for righteousness.

¹⁶ Don’t you know that if you offer yourselves to someone^[a] as obedient slaves,^(A) you are slaves of that one you obey^(B)—either of sin leading to death^(C) or of obedience leading to righteousness?

¹⁹ I am using a human analogy^[a](A) because of the weakness of your flesh.^[b] For just as you offered the parts^[c] of yourselves as slaves to moral impurity, and to greater and greater lawlessness, so now offer them as slaves to righteousness, which results in sanctification.

²⁰ for you were bought^(A) at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.^[a]

¹⁵ Therefore, through Him let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of our lips that confess His name.^(A)

⁵ you yourselves, as living stones, are being built into a spiritual house for a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God^(A) through Jesus Christ.
