⁵ But ^[a]because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart ^(A)you are storing up wrath for yourself ^(B)on the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

²⁰ The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, ^(A)did not repent of ^(B)the works of their hands so as not to ^(C)worship demons and ^(D)the idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; ²¹ and they ^(E)did not repent of their murders, nor of their ^(F)witchcraft, nor of their ^(G)sexual immorality, nor of their thefts.

⁹ And the people were scorched with ^[a]fierce heat; and they ^(A)blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they ^(B)did not repent so as to ^(C)give Him glory.

¹¹ and they ^(A)blasphemed the ^(B)God of heaven because of their pain and their ^(C)sores; and they ^(D)did not repent of their deeds.
