¹⁷ But if some of the ^(A)branches were broken off, and ^(B)you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the ^[a]rich root of the olive tree, ¹⁸ do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that ^(C)it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. ^19 (D)You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” ²⁰ Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you ^(E)stand by your faith. ^(F)Do not be conceited, but fear; ²¹ for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either.

³ For through ^(A)the grace given to me I say to everyone among you ^(B)not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to ^(C)each a measure of faith.

^16 (A)Be of the same mind toward one another; ^(B)do not be ^[a]haughty in mind, but ^[b]associate with the lowly. ^(C)Do not be wise in your own estimation.
