³ And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, ^(A)the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will ^(B)dwell among them, and they shall be His ^[a]people, and God Himself will be among them^[b], ⁴ and He will ^(C)wipe away every tear from their eyes; and ^(D)there will no longer be any death; ^(E)there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; ^(F)the first things have passed away.”

⁵ And ^(G)He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am ^(H)making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for ^(I)these words are faithful and true.” ⁶ Then He said to me, “^[c](J)It is done. I am the ^(K)Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. ^(L)I will give water to the one who thirsts from the spring of the ^(M)water of life, without cost. ^7 (N)The one who overcomes will inherit these things, and ^(O)I will be his God and he will be My son.

^24 (A)The nations will walk by its light, and the ^(B)kings of the earth ^[a]will bring their glory into it. ²⁵ In the daytime (for ^(C)there will be no night there) ^(D)its gates ^(E)will never be closed; ²⁶ and ^(F)they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; ²⁷ and ^(G)nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those ^[b]whose names are ^(H)written in the Lamb’s book of life.

The River and the Tree of Life

22 And ^(A)he showed me a ^(B)river of the ^(C)water of life, ^[a]clear ^(D)as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of ^[b]the Lamb, ² in the middle of ^(E)its street. ^(F)On either side of the river was ^(G)the tree of life, bearing twelve ^[c]kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. ^3 (H)There will no longer be any curse; and ^(I)the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will ^(J)serve Him;

¹⁴ Blessed are those who ^(A)wash their robes, so that they will have the right to ^(B)the tree of life, and may ^(C)enter the city by the ^(D)gates. ^15 (E)Outside are the ^(F)dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral persons, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

¹⁷ The ^(A)Spirit and the ^(B)bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And ^(C)let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires, take the ^(D)water of life without cost.
