Psalm 107:15-20

New International Version

¹⁵ Let them give thanks^(A) to the Lord for his unfailing love^(B)
    and his wonderful deeds^(C) for mankind,
¹⁶ for he breaks down gates of bronze
    and cuts through bars of iron.

¹⁷ Some became fools^(D) through their rebellious ways^(E)
    and suffered affliction^(F) because of their iniquities.
¹⁸ They loathed all food^(G)
    and drew near the gates of death.^(H)
19 Then they cried^(I) to the Lord in their trouble,
    and he saved them^(J) from their distress.
²⁰ He sent out his word^(K) and healed them;^(L)
    he rescued^(M) them from the grave.^(N)
