Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ

¹² Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man,^(A) and death through sin,^(B) and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned^(C)—

¹⁸ Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people,^(A) so also one righteous act resulted in justification^(B) and life^(C) for all people.

¹⁹ For just as through the disobedience of the one man^(A) the many were made sinners,^(B) so also through the obedience^(C) of the one man the many will be made righteous.

²¹ For since death came through a man,^(A) the resurrection of the dead^(B) comes also through a man.

²² For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.^(A)

¹⁹ We know that we are children of God,^(A) and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.^(B)
