Psalm 34:14-22

¹⁴^(A)Turn away from evil and do good;
seek peace and ^(B)pursue it.

¹⁵^(C)The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
    ^(D)and his ears toward their cry.
¹⁶^(E)The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
    to ^(F)cut off the memory of them from the earth.
¹⁷^(G)When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears
    and delivers them out of all their troubles.
¹⁸The Lord is near to ^(H)the brokenhearted
    and saves ^(I)the crushed in spirit.

¹⁹^(J)Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
    ^(K)but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
²⁰He keeps all his bones;
    ^(L)not one of them is broken.
²¹^(M)Affliction will slay the wicked,
    and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
²²The Lord ^(N)redeems the life of his servants;
    none of those who take refuge in him will be ^(O)condemned.
