¹⁰ When He had entered Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, “Who is this?” ¹¹ And the crowds were saying, “This is ^(A)Jesus the prophet, from ^(B)Nazareth in Galilee.”

Cleansing the Temple

^12 (C)And Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all those who were selling and buying on the temple grounds, and He overturned the tables of the ^(D)money changers and the seats of those who were selling ^(E)doves. ¹³ And He *said to them, “It is written: ‘^(F)My house will be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a ^(G)den of robbers.”

Jesus Drives Money Changers from the Temple

^15 (A)Then they *came to Jerusalem. And He entered the temple area and began to drive out those who were selling and buying on the temple grounds, and He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling ^[a]doves; ¹⁶ and He would not allow anyone to carry ^[b]merchandise through the temple grounds. ¹⁷ And He began to teach and say to them, “Is it not written: ‘^(B)My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? ^(C)But you have made it a den of robbers.”

Traders Driven from the Temple

^45 (A)And Jesus entered the temple grounds and began to drive out those who were selling, ⁴⁶ saying to them, “It is written: ‘^(B)And My house will be a house of prayer,’ ^(C)but you have made it a den of robbers.”
