The Father Revealed in the Son(A)

25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father,(B) Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.(C) 26 Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

27 “All things have been committed to me(D) by my Father.(E) No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.(F)

Prayer(A)

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing(B) in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling(D) like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.(E) Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need(F) before you ask him.

your will be done,(I)
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.(J)
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.(K)
13 And lead us not into temptation,[a](L)
but deliver us from the evil one.[b](M)

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.(N) 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.(O)
