³³ And ^(A)his father and his mother marveled at what was said about him.

⁴⁸ And when his parents^[a] saw him, they were astonished. And his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, ^(A)your father and I have been searching for you in great distress.”

⁶⁵ And ^(A)fear came on all their neighbors. And all these things were talked about through all ^(B)the hill country of Judea, ⁶⁶ and all who heard them ^(C)laid them up in their hearts, saying, “What then will this child be?” For ^(D)the hand of the Lord was with him.

^18 (A)Behold, I and ^(B)the children whom the Lord has given me are signs and portents in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion.
