John 5:24-30

24 Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come under judgment, but has passed from death to life.
25 “Very truly, I tell you, the hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. 26 For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself; 27 and he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. 28 Do not be astonished at this; for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and will come out—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

24 In verità, in verità vi dico: chi ascolta la mia parola e crede a colui che mi ha mandato ha vita eterna; e non viene in giudizio, ma è passato dalla morte alla vita. 25 In verità, in verità vi dico: l’ora viene, anzi è già venuta, che i morti udranno la voce del Figlio di Dio; e quelli che l’avranno udita, vivranno. 26 Perché come il Padre ha vita in se stesso, così ha dato anche al Figlio di avere vita in se stesso; 27 e gli ha [anche] dato autorità di giudicare, perché è il Figlio dell’uomo. 28 Non vi meravigliate di questo; perché l’ora viene in cui tutti quelli che sono nelle tombe udranno la sua voce e ne verranno fuori: 29 quelli che hanno operato bene, in risurrezione di vita; quelli che hanno operato male, in risurrezione di giudizio. 30 Io non posso fare nulla da me stesso; come odo, giudico, e il mio giudizio è giusto, perché cerco non la mia propria volontà, ma la volontà di colui che mi ha mandato[a].

24 Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wer mein Wort hört und dem glaubt, der mich gesandt hat, der hat ewiges Leben und kommt nicht ins Gericht, sondern er ist vom Tod zum Leben hindurchgedrungen.
25 Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Die Stunde kommt und ist schon da, wo die Toten die Stimme des Sohnes Gottes hören werden, und die sie hören, werden leben.
26 Denn wie der Vater das Leben in sich selbst hat, so hat er auch dem Sohn verliehen, das Leben in sich selbst zu haben.
27 Und er hat ihm Vollmacht gegeben, auch Gericht zu halten, weil er der Sohn des Menschen ist.
28 Verwundert euch nicht darüber! Denn es kommt die Stunde, in der alle, die in den Gräbern sind, seine Stimme hören werden,
29 und sie werden hervorgehen: die das Gute getan haben, zur Auferstehung des Lebens; die aber das Böse getan haben, zur Auferstehung des Gerichts.

24 Oui, vraiment, je vous l’assure : celui qui écoute ce que je dis et qui place sa confiance dans le Père qui m’a envoyé, possède, dès à présent, la vie éternelle et il ne sera pas condamné ; il est déjà passé de la mort à la vie. 25 Oui, vraiment, je vous l’assure : l’heure vient, et elle est déjà là, où les morts entendront la voix du Fils de Dieu, et tous ceux qui l’auront entendue vivront.
26 En effet, comme le Père possède la vie en lui-même, il a accordé au Fils d’avoir la vie en lui-même. 27 Et parce qu’il est le Fils de l’homme, il lui a donné autorité pour exercer le jugement.
28 Ne vous en étonnez pas : l’heure vient où tous ceux qui sont dans la tombe entendront la voix du Fils de l’homme. 29 Alors, ils en sortiront : ceux qui auront fait le bien ressusciteront pour la vie, ceux qui auront fait le mal ressusciteront pour être condamnés[a]. 30 Pour moi, je ne peux rien faire de mon propre chef ; je juge seulement comme le Père me l’indique.
