¹⁰ Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me?^(A) The words I speak to you I do not speak on My own.^(B) The Father who lives in Me does His works.^(C)

²⁶ But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit^(A)—the Father will send^(B) Him in My name—will teach you all things^(C) and remind you of everything I have told you.^(D)

Coming Testimony and Rejection

²⁶ “When the Counselor^(A) comes, the One I will send to you from the Father^(B)—the Spirit of truth^(C) who proceeds from the Father—He will testify about Me.

¹³ When you heard the message of truth,^(A) the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him, you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.^(B)

⁴ But God, who is rich in mercy,^(A) because of His great love^(B) that He had for us,^{[a] 5} made us alive^(C) with the Messiah even though we were dead^(D) in trespasses. You are saved by grace!
