Jeremiah 22:16-18
1599 Geneva Bible
16 When he judged the cause of the afflicted and the poor, he prospered: was not this because he knew me, saith the Lord?
17 But thine eyes and thine heart are but only for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for destruction, even to do this.
18 Therefore thus saith the Lord against Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah king of Judah, They shall not [a]lament him, saying, Ah, my brother, or ah sister: neither shall they mourn for him, saying, Ah, lord, or ah, his glory.

Jeremiah 22:16-18
New International Version
16 He defended the cause of the poor and needy,(A)
and so all went well.
Is that not what it means to know(B) me?”
declares the Lord.
17 “But your eyes and your heart
are set only on dishonest gain,(C)
on shedding innocent blood(D)
and on oppression and extortion.”(E)
18 Therefore this is what the Lord says about Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah:
“They will not mourn(F) for him:
‘Alas, my brother! Alas, my sister!’
They will not mourn for him:
‘Alas, my master! Alas, his splendor!’
