Isaiah Called to Be a Prophet^(A)

6 In the year that ^(B)King Uzziah died, I ^(C)saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. ² Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, ^(D)with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. ³ And one cried to another and said:

⁸ The four living creatures, each having ^(A)six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

The Risen Christ, Faith’s Reality^(A)

15 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel ^(B)which I preached to you, which also you received and ^(C)in which you stand, ^2 (D)by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless ^(E)you believed in vain.

³ For ^(F)I delivered to you first of all that ^(G)which I also received: that Christ died for our sins ^(H)according to the Scriptures, ⁴ and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day ^(I)according to the Scriptures,

⁴ Or do you despise ^(A)the riches of His goodness, ^(B)forbearance, and ^(C)longsuffering, ^(D)not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

^13 (A)You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. ^14 (B)If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, ^(C)you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

⁴⁵ Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. ^(A)But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have ^(B)defied.

The Great Flood^(A)

7 Then the ^(B)Lord said to Noah, ^(C)“Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that ^(D)you are righteous before Me in this generation.
