Isaiah 9:11-15

New International Version

Yet for all this, his anger^(E) is not turned away,
    his hand is still upraised.^(F)

¹³ But the people have not returned^(G) to him who struck^(H) them,
    nor have they sought^(I) the Lord Almighty.
¹⁴ So the Lord will cut off from Israel both head and tail,
    both palm branch and reed^(J) in a single day;^(K)
15 the elders^(L) and dignitaries^(M) are the head,
    the prophets^(N) who teach lies^(O) are the tail.
