¹⁰ See, the Sovereign Lord comes^(A) with power,^(B)
    and he rules^(C) with a mighty arm.^(D)
See, his reward^(E) is with him,
    and his recompense accompanies him.
¹¹ He tends his flock like a shepherd:^(F)
    He gathers the lambs in his arms^(G)
and carries them close to his heart;^(H)
    he gently leads^(I) those that have young.^(J)

¹² Who has measured the waters^(K) in the hollow of his hand,^(L)
    or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens?^(M)
Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket,
    or weighed the mountains on the scales
    and the hills in a balance?^(N)
13 Who can fathom the Spirit^[a](O) of the Lord,
    or instruct the Lord as his counselor?^(P)

³¹ but those who hope^(A) in the Lord
    will renew their strength.^(B)
They will soar on wings like eagles;^(C)
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.^(D)

“Whoever would love life
    and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
    and their lips from deceitful speech.
¹¹ They must turn from evil and do good;
    they must seek peace and pursue it.
¹² For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
    and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”^[a](J)
