26 Then God said, (A)“Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; (B)let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [a]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man (C)in His own image; in the image of God He created him; (D)male and female He created them.

21 And the Lord God caused a (A)deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He [a]made into a woman, (B)and He (C)brought her to the man.
23 And Adam said:
“This is now (D)bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called [b]Woman,
Because she was (E)taken out of [c]Man.”
24 (F)Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and (G)be[d] joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
25 (H)And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not (I)ashamed.
