¹⁴ And God said unto Moses, ^[a]I am that I am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, ^[b]I am hath sent me unto you. ¹⁵ And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

⁴ Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, Jehovah, the first, and with the last, I am he.

¹⁰ Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

⁴ and even to old age I am he, and even to hoar hairs will I carry you; I have made, and I will bear; yea, I will carry, and will deliver.

⁶ Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak; behold, ^[a]it is I.
