²⁹ Let no ^[a](A)unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but if there is any good word for ^(B)edification ^[b]according to the need of the moment, say that, so that it will give grace to those who hear.

¹¹ Therefore, ^[a]encourage one another and ^(A)build one another up, just as you also are doing.

¹⁸ For the one who ^(A)serves Christ in this way is ^(B)acceptable to God and approved by other people. ¹⁹ So then we ^(C)pursue the things ^[a]which make for peace and the ^(D)building up of one another. ^20 (E)Do not tear down the work of God for the sake of food. ^(F)All things indeed are clean, but ^(G)they are evil for the person who eats ^[b]and causes offense.

15 Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of ^(A)those without strength, and not just please ourselves. ² Each of us is to ^(B)please his neighbor ^[a]for his good, to his ^(C)edification.
