Deuteronomy 6:4-12
New International Version
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a](A) 5 Love(B) the Lord your God with all your heart(C) and with all your soul and with all your strength.(D) 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.(E) 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.(F) 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.(G) 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.(H)
10 When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build,(I) 11 houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig,(J) and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied,(K) 12 be careful that you do not forget(L) the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy
11 Now on his way to Jerusalem,(A) Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.(B) 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[a](C) met him. They stood at a distance(D) 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master,(E) have pity on us!”
14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.”(F) And as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God(G) in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.(H)
17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”(I)
