Acts 17:26-31

²⁶And ^(A)he made from one man every nation of mankind to live ^(B)on all the face of the earth, ^(C)having determined allotted periods and ^(D)the boundaries of their dwelling place, ²⁷^(E)that they should seek God, ^(F)and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. ^(G)Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, ²⁸for

^(H)“‘In him we live and move and have our being’;^[a]

as even some of ^(I)your own poets have said,

“‘For we are indeed his offspring.’^[b]

²⁹^(J)Being then God's offspring, ^(K)we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. ³⁰^(L)The times of ignorance ^(M)God overlooked, but ^(N)now he ^(O)commands all people everywhere to repent, ³¹because he has fixed ^(P)a day on which ^(Q)he will judge the world ^(R)in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and ^(S)of this he has given assurance to all ^(T)by raising him from the dead.”
