10 By no means did I mean the sexually immoral people of this world or the greedy people and swindlers or idolaters, since then you would have to depart out of the world. 11 But now I have written to you not to associate with any so-called brother, if he is a sexually immoral person or a greedy person or an idolater or an abusive person or a drunkard or a swindler—with such a person not even to eat. 12 For what is it to me to judge those outside? Should you not judge those inside?

10 not at all meaning the people of this world(A) who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister[a](B) but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater(C) or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.(D)
12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside(E) the church? Are you not to judge those inside?(F)
