  1. Then it seemed good to the apostles and elders (with the whole church) to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: namely, Judas (whose surname was Barsabas) and Silas, leaders among the brothers.
  2. “We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.

  10. And the brothers immediately sent away Paul and Silas to Berea by night. And when they had gotten there, they entered into the synagogue of the Jews.
  11. And immediately the brothers sent Paul away, to go to the sea. But Silas and Timothy remained there.
  12. And those who conducted Paul brought him to Athens. And when they had received a commandment for Silas and Timothy to come to him at once, they departed.
  13. Now when Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul, being pressed by the Spirit, testified to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.
