  12. If, when the priest examines it, the mold has faded after the article has been washed, he is to tear the spoiled part out of the fabric, the leather, or the woven or knitted material.
  13. But if it reappears in the fabric, in the woven or knitted material, or in the leather article, it is a spreading mold; whatever has the mold must be burned.
  14. Any fabric, woven or knitted material, or any leather article that has been washed and is rid of the mold, must be washed again. Then it will be clean.”
  15. These are the regulations concerning defiling molds in woolen or linen clothing, woven or knitted material, or any leather article, for pronouncing them clean or unclean.
  16. Any clothing or leather that has semen on it must be washed with water, and it will be unclean till evening.
  17. Then they are to cover the curtain with a durable leather, spread a cloth of solid blue over that and put the poles in place.
  18. They are to spread a scarlet cloth over them, cover that with the durable leather and put the poles in place.
  19. Then they are to wrap it and all its accessories in a covering of the durable leather and put it on a carrying frame.
  20. “Over the gold altar they are to spread a blue cloth and cover that with the durable leather and put the poles in place.
  21. “They are to take all the articles used for ministering in the sanctuary, wrap them in a blue cloth, cover that with the durable leather and put them on a carrying frame.
  22. Then they are to place on it all the utensils used for ministering at the altar, including the firepans, meat forks, shovels and sprinkling bowls. Over it they are to spread a covering of the durable leather and put the poles in place.
  23. They are to carry the curtains of the tabernacle, that is, the tent of meeting, its covering and its outer covering of durable leather, the curtains for the entrance to the tent of meeting,
  24. Purify every garment as well as everything made of leather, goat hair or wood.”
  25. They replied, “He had a garment of hair and had a leather belt around his waist.” The king said, “That was Elijah the Tishbite.”
