Then the priest Jehoiada took a chest, made a hole in its lid, and set it beside the altar on the right side as one entered the house of the Lord; the priests who guarded the threshold put in it all the money that was brought into the house of the Lord.

Whenever they saw that there was a great deal of money in the chest, the king’s secretary and the high priest went up, counted the money that was found in the house of the Lord, and tied it up in bags.

So the king gave command, and they made a chest, and set it outside the gate of the house of the Lord.

All the leaders and all the people rejoiced, and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until it was full.

Whenever the chest was brought to the king’s officers by the Levites, when they saw that there was a large amount of money in it, the king’s secretary and the officer of the chief priest would come and empty the chest and take it and return it to its place. So they did day after day, and collected money in abundance.

The head of that statue was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its middle and thighs of bronze,

And if anyone asks them, ‘What are these wounds on your chest?’ the answer will be ‘The wounds I received in the house of my friends.’

On entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother; and they knelt down and paid him homage. Then, opening their treasure-chests, they offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

and in the midst of the lampstands I saw one like the Son of Man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash across his chest.

and out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues, robed in pure bright linen, with golden sashes across their chests.

They took all the holy vessels of the Lord, great and small, the treasure-chests of the Lord, and the royal stores, and carried them away to Babylon.
