With all the advantages of today's technology, there are inherent dangers, deceptions, and abuses that can contribute to self-centered character, negative behaviors, and beliefs that inhibit spiritual growth.
It may be that the most relevant question for us is not “Where can we find the voice of God?” but “What prevents us from taking in the voice of God?”
This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, when we commemorate the remarkable event that kickstarted the early Christian church. At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended on a gathering of Christians and vividly demonstrated that the gospel of Jesus Christ was meant for all people, regardless of nationality or ethnicity.
