As a student you face unique challenges as you begin to see what your impact on the world might be. During these years, it’s as important as ever to be well-versed in the Word of God. But faithfully reading the Bible can become increasingly more difficult as homework and extra-curricular activities pile up.

That’s why Bible Gateway has a series of free reading plan resources, which can be found on our site or sent to your inbox as an email. In fact, we have a page dedicated exclusively to reading plans geared toward students.

Insights for Students is our classic reading plan. Drawn from the study notes found in the NIV Student Bible, it provides, on a weekly basis, an overview of some of Scripture’s most important themes and messages. The content is easy for students with busy schedules to commit to reading.

For those in college or graduate school, we have the Biblical Wisdom for the College Journey devotional that will help prepare your heart and mind for coming classes. Each day’s reading in this 14-day plan is focused on a story that connects Scripture with the struggles, questions, and decisions every college student faces.

If you’re looking for theological insights that might be a little more challenging, Tough Questions with R.C. Sproul is the one for you. Theologian, author, and pastor R.C. Sproul takes on the most difficult questions people ask about Christianity and devotes each day’s material to tackling one. It will certainly give you something to think about!

If you don’t see what you’re looking for here, Bible Gateway has an entire collection of devotionals and reading plans on many biblical topics, all of which are free. The best place to browse for new content is on our newsletters page. You can sign up for as many as you want, but our advice is to try out one or two to begin with and see how you’re able to keep up with the content. Many of our devotionals conclude with either a specific prayer or a call to pray about a certain topic. All of our devotionals are designed to assist you in giving your mind more fully and more often to God.

So, no matter when you were born or what assumptions you bring to the classroom, consider Bible Gateway a practical help to you in your studies.
