  1. “Take a census of the whole Israelite community by their clans and families, listing every man by name, one by one.
  2. One man from each tribe, each of them the head of his family, is to help you.

  12. Then the priest shall put the woman under oath and say to her, “If no other man has had sexual relations with you and you have not gone astray and become impure while married to your husband, may this bitter water that brings a curse not harm you.
  13. But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and you have made yourself impure by having sexual relations with a man other than your husband”—
  14. or when feelings of jealousy come over a man because he suspects his wife. The priest is to have her stand before the Lord and is to apply this entire law to her.
  15. “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘If a man or woman wants to make a special vow, a vow of dedication to the Lord as a Nazirite,
  16. “Accept these from them, that they may be used in the work at the tent of meeting. Give them to the Levites as each man’s work requires.”
  17. On the eighth day Gamaliel son of Pedahzur, the leader of the people of Manasseh, brought his offering.
  18. Gamaliel son of Pedahzur was over the division of the tribe of Manasseh,
  19. But now we have lost our appetite; we never see anything but this manna!”
  20. The manna was like coriander seed and looked like resin.
  21. When the dew settled on the camp at night, the manna also came down.
  22. A young man ran and told Moses, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”
  23. (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)
