¹⁷     no weapon forged against you will prevail,^(A)
    and you will refute^(B) every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants^(C) of the Lord,
    and this is their vindication^(D) from me,”
declares the Lord.

¹² For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
    and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”^[a](A)

⁹ The Lord is a refuge^(A) for the oppressed,^(B)
    a stronghold in times of trouble.^(C)
10 Those who know your name^(D) trust in you,
    for you, Lord, have never forsaken^(E) those who seek you.^(F)

⁹ If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
¹⁰ no harm^(A) will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.
¹¹ For he will command his angels^(B) concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;^(C)
