⁷ They said unto him, ‘Because no man hath hired us.’ He said unto them, ‘Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.’

⁷ They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard.

⁷ They answered him, Because nobody has hired us. He told them, You go out into the vineyard also and you will get whatever is just and fair.

⁷ “‘Because nobody has hired us,’ they replied.

“He responded, ‘You also go into the vineyard.’

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ ‘You too,’ he told them, ‘go to the vineyard.’

⁷ They say to him, Because no man has hired us. He says to them, Go also ye into the vineyard [and whatsoever may be just ye shall receive].

⁷ They say to him: Because no man hath hired us. He saith to them: Go you also into my vineyard.

⁷ “They said, ‘No one gave us a job.’

“The man said to them, ‘Then you can go and work in my vineyard.’

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’

⁷ They answered, ‘No one ·gave us a job [hired us].’ The man said to them, ‘Then you can go and work in my vineyard.’

“He said to them, ‘Work in my vineyard.’

⁷ ‘No one hired us,’ they answered. ‘Well, then, you go and work in the vineyard,’ he told them.

⁷ “‘Because no one hired us,’ they said to him.

“‘You also go to my vineyard,’ he told them.

But God’s generosity may appear unfair

20 ^1-7 “For the kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer going out early in the morning to hire labourers for his vineyard. He agreed with them on a wage of a silver coin a day and sent them to work. About nine o’clock he went and saw some others standing about in the market-place with nothing to do. ‘You go to the vineyard too,” he said to them, ‘and I will pay you a fair wage.’ And off they went. At about mid-day and again at about three o’clock in the afternoon he went and did the same thing. Then about five o’clock he went out and found some others standing about. ‘Why are you standing about here all day doing nothing?’ he asked them. ‘Because no one has employed us,’ they replied. ‘You go off into the vineyard as well, then,’ he said.

⁷ They told him, It is because nobody has hired us; and he said, Away with you to the vineyard like the rest.

“He told them to go to work in his vineyard.

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’

⁷ “‘No one has hired us,’ they answered him.

“He said to them, ‘Work in my vineyard.’

⁷ They *said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He *said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’

⁷ They answered, ‘No one gave us a job.’ The man said to them, ‘Then you can go and work in my vineyard.’

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go and work in the vineyard too.’

⁷ “‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered.

“He said to them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard.’

‘He said to them, “You also go and work in my vineyard.”

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you will receive.’

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said, ‘Go to my grape-field and work. Whatever is right, I will pay you.’

⁷ “They replied, ‘Because no one hired us.’

“The landowner told them, ‘Then go out and join the others in my vineyard.’

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard.’

⁷ They said to him, “Because no one has hired us.” He said to them, “You also go into the vineyard.”

⁷ They said to him, “Because no one has hired us.” He said to them, “You also go into the vineyard.”

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard.’

⁷ The idle workers say to the Baal Bayit, Because no one hired us. The Baal Bayit says to them, You go also into the kerem.

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’

⁷ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’

And off the workers went.

⁷ “They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’

“He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.’

⁷ They said, "No man has asked us to work." So he said to them, "You go out to work on the farm too."

⁷ They say to him, For no man hath hired us. He saith to them, Go ye also into my vineyard.

⁷ they say to him, Because no one did hire us; he saith to them, Go ye -- ye also -- to the vineyard, and whatever may be righteous ye shall receive.
