Died: Sam Moore, Former Thomas Nelson CEO

 

Sam Moore, 88, former CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishers and founder of Royal Publishing, died June 1, 2018. The New King James Version (NKJV) translation of the Bible was published for the first time in 1983 under Moore’s leadership to make the Bible easier to read and understand.
