And thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi, for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
And thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi; for there shall be one rod for each head of their fathers’ houses.
and write Aaron’s name on the rod of Levi [his ancestor]; for there is one rod for the head of each of their fathers’ households.
And you shall write Aaron’s name on the rod of Levi [his great-grandfather]. For there shall be one rod for the head of each father’s house.
And thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
Write Aaron’s name on Levi’s staff, because there is to be one staff for the head of each tribe.
Write Aaron’s name on Levi’s staff, for there will be one staff for the leader of each household.
Also the fire pans of these men, whose sin cost them their lives, have become holy, because they were offered before Adonai. Therefore, have them hammered into plates to cover the altar. This will be a sign for the people of Isra’el.”
Call together the twelve tribes of Israel and tell the leader of each tribe to write his name on the walking stick he carries as a symbol of his authority. Make sure Aaron's name is written on the one from the Levi tribe, then collect all the sticks.
And Aaron's name shalt thou write upon the staff of Levi; for one staff shall be for [each] head of their fathers' houses.
And the name of Aaron shall be for the tribe of Levi, and one rod shall contain all their families:
On the stick from Levi, write Aaron’s name. There must be one stick for the head of each of the twelve tribes.
Write Aaron's name on the stick from the tribe of Levi.
Write Aaron’s name on the staff of Levi, because there will be one staff for each head of their fathers’ houses.

on the ·stick [staff] from Levi, write Aaron’s name. There must be one ·stick [staff] for the head of each ·tribe [family; L house of their fathers].
And write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi: for every rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
Write Aaron’s name on the staff for Levi because there must be one staff for the head of each tribe.
and then write Aaron's name on the stick representing Levi. There will be one stick for each tribal leader.
Write Aaron’s name on Levi’s staff, because there must be one staff for the head of each ancestral house.
On the stick from Levi, write Aaron’s name. There must be 1 stick for the head of each tribe.
You are also to write Aaron’s name on the tribe of Levi, since there is to be one rod for every leader of their ancestral tribes.
And thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi, for each head of family of their fathers shall have one rod.
And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.

and the name of Aaron on the staff of Levi, because one staff is for the head of each of their families.
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell the people of Israel that each of their tribal chiefs is to bring you a wooden rod with his name inscribed upon it. Aaron’s name is to be on the rod of the tribe of Levi.
God spoke to Moses: “Speak to the People of Israel. Get staffs from them—twelve staffs in all, one from the leader of each of their ancestral tribes. Write each man’s name on his staff. Start with Aaron; write Aaron’s name on the staff of Levi and then proceed with the rest, a staff for the leader of each ancestral tribe. Now lay them out in the Tent of Meeting in front of The Testimony where I keep appointments with you. What will happen next is this: The staff of the man I choose will sprout. I’m going to put a stop to this endless grumbling by the People of Israel against you.”
You will write the name of Aaron on the rod of Levi, because one rod will be for each father’s house.

the censers of those who sinned at the cost of their lives. Have them hammered into plates to cover the altar, because in being presented before the Lord they have become holy. In this way they shall serve as a sign to the Israelites.
and write Aaron’s name on the staff of Levi; for there is to be one staff for the head of each of their fathers’ households.

On the staff of Levi write Aaron’s name, for there must be one staff for the head of each ancestral tribe.
On the staff of Levi write Aaron’s name, for there must be one staff for the head of each ancestral tribe.
And you shall write Aaron’s name on the rod of Levi. For there shall be one rod for the head of each father’s house.
Write Aaron’s name on the walking stick of Levi. For there will be one walking stick for the head of each father’s house.
Inscribe Aaron’s name on the staff of the tribe of Levi, for there must be one staff for the leader of each ancestral tribe.

Write Aaron’s name on Levi’s staff, for there is to be one staff for the prince of each tribe.
Eternal One (to Moses): Tell the Israelites that you’ll need twelve staffs—one for each of the extended families. Engrave on each one the respective leader’s name. (Aaron’s name should be on the Levi family’s staff.)
You shall write Aaron’s name on Levi’s rod. There shall be one rod for each head of their fathers’ houses.
soothly the name of Aaron shall be written in the lineage of Levi, and one rod shall contain all the families of Levi. (and Aaron’s name shall be written on the staff of Levi; yea, one staff shall be for the head of each family.)
and Aaron's name thou dost write on the tribe of Levi; for one rod [is] for the head of their fathers' house:
