but you torture me with terrible dreams. *
Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions;
Thou wilt frighten me with dreams and terrify me with visions.
But when I lie down, you scare me with dreams; you frighten me with visions.
But even then you give me dreams that frighten me. I have visions which make me very afraid.
then you frighten me with dreams and terrify me with visions,
then you scare me with dreams and terrify me with visions,
then you scare me with dreams and terrify me with visions,

Then fearest thou me with dreams, and astonishest me with visions.

But you—you terrify me with dreams; you send me visions and nightmares

But then you scared me with dreams; you terrified me with visions.

Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions:

Then You frighten me with dreams And terrify me by visions,
then you terrify me with dreams, and with visions you terrify me.
Even when I try to forget my misery in sleep, you terrify with nightmares.
“And so I’m not keeping one bit of this quiet, I’m laying it all out on the table; my complaining to high heaven is bitter, but honest. Are you going to put a muzzle on me, the way you quiet the sea and still the storm? If I say, ‘I’m going to bed, then I’ll feel better. A little nap will lift my spirits,’ You come and so scare me with nightmares and frighten me with ghosts That I’d rather strangle in the sheets than face this kind of life any longer. I hate this life! Who needs any more of this? Let me alone! There’s nothing to my life—it’s nothing but smoke.

You, Lord, intimidate me with dreams and terrorize me with visions.

thou shalt make me afeared by dreams, and thou shalt shake me with horror, either hideousness, by sights. (then thou shalt make me afraid with dreams, and thou shalt make me shake with visions of horror, or of hideousness.)
And thou hast affrighted me with dreams, And from visions thou terrifiest me,
