Job 27:22
22 For God shall cast upon him, and not spare; he would eagerly flee out of His hand.
22 For God shall hurl at him, and not spare: He would fain flee out of his hand.
22 For [God and the storm] hurl at him without pity and unsparingly [their thunderbolts of wrath]; he flees in haste before His power.
22 throws itself on them without mercy;
they flee desperately from its force.
22 Yes, it hurls itself at him, sparing nothing;
he does all he can to flee from its power.
22 without showing mercy,
as they try to escape.
22 And [God] shall cast upon him and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
22 And he shall cast upon him, and shall not spare: out of his hand he would willingly flee.
22 They may try to run away from the power of the storm,
but it will come down on them without mercy.
22 It hurls at him without pity;
he flees from its power in headlong flight.
22 It hurls at him without pity;
he flees from its power in headlong flight.
22 ·The wind [or God; L He; It] will hit them without mercy
as they ·try to run away [flee] from ·its power [or his power/hand].
22 And God shall cast upon him and not spare, though he would fain flee out of his hand.
22 It hurls itself at him without mercy.
He flees from its power.
22 it will blow down on them without pity
while they try their best to escape.
22 It blasts at him without mercy,
while he flees desperately from its grasp.
22 For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
22 he is routed before the pitiless onslaught,
22 And it hurls at him, and it has no compassion;
he will quickly flee from its power.
13-23 “I’ll quote your own words back to you:
“‘This is how God treats the wicked,
this is what evil people can expect from God Almighty:
Their children—all of them—will die violent deaths;
they’ll never have enough bread to put on the table.
They’ll be wiped out by the plague,
and none of the widows will shed a tear when they’re gone.
Even if they make a lot of money
and are resplendent in the latest fashions,
It’s the good who will end up wearing the clothes
and the decent who will divide up the money.
They build elaborate houses
that won’t survive a single winter.
They go to bed wealthy
and wake up poor.
Terrors pour in on them like flash floods—
a tornado snatches them away in the middle of the night,
A cyclone sweeps them up—gone!
Not a trace of them left, not even a footprint.
Catastrophes relentlessly pursue them;
they run this way and that, but there’s no place to hide—
Pummeled by the weather,
blown to kingdom come by the storm.’”
22 It hurls itself at him without mercy.
He flees from its power.
22 “For it will hurl at him without sparing;
He will surely try to flee from its power.
22 The wind will hit them without mercy
as they try to run away from its power.
22 It hurls itself against him without pity
as he flees headlong from its power.
22 It blows against them without mercy.
They try to escape from its power.
22 It hurls itself against him without mercy
as he flees headlong from its power.
22 It hurls itself against him without mercy
as he flees headlong from its power.
22 It hurls against him and does not spare;
He flees desperately from its power.
22 It comes at him without pity. He tries to run from its power as fast as he can.
22 It whirls down on them without mercy.
They struggle to flee from its power.
22 It hurls at them without pity;
they flee from its power in headlong flight.
22 It hurls at them without pity;
they flee from its power in headlong flight.
22 It hurls at them without pity;
they flee from its power in headlong flight.
22 It hurls at them without pity;
they flee from its power in headlong flight.
22 For it will hurl against him, without sparing; he desperately flees from its yad.
22 It hurls at him without pity;
he flees from its power in headlong flight.
22 It hurls at him without pity;
he flees from its power in headlong flight.
22 It will have blown against him pitilessly,
and he tries to flee from its fast-closing hand.
22 For it hurls at him, and does not spare,
as he flees away from his hand.
22 The Lord shall send out (these) torments upon him, and shall not spare; (and) he fleeing shall flee from his hand.
22 And it casteth at him, and doth not spare, From its hand he diligently fleeth.
