Hosea 12:11

11 Is there iniquity in Gilead? Surely they are vanity. They sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Is Gilead iniquity? they are altogether false; in Gilgal they sacrifice bullocks; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 If Gilead is given over to idolatry, they shall come to nought and be mere waste; if they [insult God by] sacrificing bullocks in Gilgal [on heathen altars], their altars shall be like heaps in the furrows of the fields.

Hosea 12:11X

11 In Gilead there is wickedness;
        they will surely come to nothing.
    In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls,
        so their altars will be like piles of stones
        on the rows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 (10) I have spoken to the prophets;
it was I who gave vision after vision;
through the prophets I gave examples
to show what it would all be like.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Gilead is terribly sinful
    and will end up ruined.
Bulls are sacrificed in Gilgal
    on altars made of stones,
but those stones will be scattered
    in every field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 If Gilead is iniquity, surely they are but vanity: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

Hosea 12:11X

11 If Galaad be an idol, then in vain were they in Galgal offering sacrifices with bullocks: for their altars also are as heaps in the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 But the people in Gilead have sinned. There are many terrible idols in that place. They offer sacrifices to bulls at Gilgal. They have many altars. There are rows and rows of altars—like the rows of dirt in a plowed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 If there is iniquity in Gilead,
    they shall surely come to nothing:
in Gilgal they sacrifice bulls;
    their altars also are like stone heaps
    on the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 If there is iniquity in Gilead,
    they shall surely come to nothing:
in Gilgal they sacrifice bulls;
    their altars also are like stone heaps
    on the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 ·The people of Gilead are evil [or Is Gilead wicked? or In Gilead there was idolatry],
    they ·are worth nothing [are worthless; or will come to nothing].
·People [or Do they…?] sacrifice bulls at Gilgal [4:15].
    But their altars will become like piles of stone
    in a plowed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Is there iniquity in Gilead? surely they are vanity: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal, and their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 The people of Gilead are evil.
    They are worthless.
    They sacrifice bulls in Gilgal.
        But their altars will become like piles of rubble
            beside a plowed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Yet idols are worshiped in Gilead, and those who worship them will die. Bulls are sacrificed in Gilgal, and the altars there will become piles of stone in the open fields.”

Hosea 12:11X

11 Since Gilead is full of evil,
they will certainly come to nothing.
They sacrifice bulls in Gilgal;
even their altars will be like heaps of rocks
on the furrows of a field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Is Gilead iniquity? surely they are vanity: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Is there iniquity in Gilead? surely they are vanity: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Is there iniquity in Gilead? surely they are vanity:
they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal;
yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

Hosea 12:11X

11 If in Gilead there is evil,
    surely they will come to nothing.
In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls,
    also their altars will be like stone heaps
    on furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 But the sins of Gilgal flourish just the same. Row on row of altars—like furrows in a field—are used for sacrifices to your idols. And Gilead, too, is full of fools who worship idols.

Hosea 12:11X

9-11 “But not so fast! I’m God, your God!
    Your God from the days in Egypt!
I’m going to put you back to living in tents,
    as in the old days when you worshiped in the wilderness.
I speak through the prophets
    to give clear pictures of the way things are.
    Using prophets, I tell revealing stories.
I show Gilead rampant with religious scandal
    and Gilgal teeming with empty-headed religion.
I expose their worship centers as
    stinking piles of garbage in their gardens.”

Hosea 12:11X

11 The people of Gilead are evil.
    They are worthless.
    They sacrifice bulls in Gilgal.
        But their altars will become like piles of rubble
            beside a plowed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Is there iniquity in Gilead?
Surely they are worthless.
In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls,
Yes, their altars are like the stone heaps
Beside the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 The people of Gilead are evil,
    worth nothing.
Though people sacrifice bulls at Gilgal,
    their altars will become like piles of stone
    in a plowed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Is there idolatry in Gilead?
Certainly its inhabitants will come to nothing!
Do they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal?
Surely their altars will be like stones heaped up on a plowed field!

Hosea 12:11X

11 The people of Gilead are evil!
    They aren’t worth anything!
Gilgal’s people sacrifice bulls to other gods.
    Their altars will become like piles of stones
    on a plowed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Is Gilead wicked?
    Its people are worthless!
Do they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal?
    Their altars will be like piles of stones
    on a plowed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Is Gilead wicked?
    Its people are worthless!
Do they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal?
    Their altars will be like piles of stones
    on a ploughed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Though Gilead has idols—
Surely they are vanity—
Though they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal,
Indeed their altars shall be heaps in the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Is there sin in Gilead? For sure its people are of no worth. In Gilgal they kill bulls in worship. Their altars are like the many stones laid beside a plowed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 But the people of Gilead are worthless
    because of their idol worship.
And in Gilgal, too, they sacrifice bulls;
    their altars are lined up like the heaps of stone
    along the edges of a plowed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 In Gilead there is iniquity,
    they shall surely come to nothing.
In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls,
    so their altars shall be like stone heaps
    on the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 In Gilead there is iniquity,
    they shall surely come to nothing.
In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls,
    so their altars shall be like stone heaps
    on the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 In Gilead there is iniquity,
    they shall surely come to nothing.
In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls,
    so their altars shall be like stone heaps
    on the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 In Gilead there is iniquity,
    they shall surely come to nothing.
In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls,
    so their altars shall be like stone heaps
    on the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 (12) Is there aven (iniquity) in Gil‘ad? Surely they are vanity; they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their mizbechot are as piles of stones in the furrows of the fields.

Hoshea 12:11X

11 If there is iniquity in Gilead
    they shall surely come to nought;
if in Gilgal they sacrifice bulls,
    their altars also shall be like stone heaps
    on the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 If there is iniquity in Gilead
    they shall surely come to nought;
if in Gilgal they sacrifice bulls,
    their altars also shall be like stone heaps
    on the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11     Because Gilead is so wicked, it is worthless.
        They sacrifice bulls at the cultic center of Gilgal,
    But their altars will be heaps of stone next to a plowed field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 If Gilead is wicked,
    surely they are worthless.
In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls.
    Indeed, their altars are like heaps in the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 If Gilead worshippeth an idol, therefore they err in vain offering to oxes in Gilgal; for why and the altars of them shall be as heaps on the furrows of the field.

Hosea 12:11X

11 Surely Gilead [is] iniquity, Only, vanity they have been, In Gilead bullocks they have sacrificed, Also their altars [are] as heaps, on the furrows of a field.
