For how can this servant of my Lord talk with thee, my lord? For as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.”
For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither was there breath left in me.
For how can such a [weakened] servant of my lord talk with such [a being] as my lord? For now there remains no strength in me, nor has any breath been left in me.”
For how can my lord’s servant [who is so feeble] talk with this my lord? For now no strength remains in me, nor is there any breath left in me.
For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
How can someone like me, your servant, speak with someone like you, my lord? Now I have no strength, and there is no breath in me.”
So how can I, my lord’s servant, speak with you, my lord? Even now there’s no strength in me, and I can barely breathe.”
For how can this servant of my lord speak with my lord, when my strength and breath have failed me?”
I am merely your servant. How can I possibly speak with someone so powerful, when I am almost too weak to get my breath?”
And how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remaineth no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
And how can the servant of my lord speak with my lord? for no strength remaineth in me, moreover my breath is stopped.
Sir, I am Daniel your servant. How can I talk with you? My strength is gone and it is hard for me to breathe.”
I am your servant, sir. I am too weak to speak with you. It is difficult for me to breathe.’
How can this servant of my lord speak with my lord? And I, from now on—no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.”
How can my lord's servant talk with my lord? For now no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.”
How can my lord's servant talk with my lord? For now no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.”
Master, how can I, your servant, talk with ·you [L my master]? ·My strength is gone [L From now strength does not remain in me], and ·it is hard for me to breathe [L breath does not remain in me].”
For how can the servant of this my Lord talk with my Lord being such one? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
How can I talk to you, sir? I have no strength left, and the wind has been knocked out of me.”
I am like a slave standing before his master. How can I talk to you? I have no strength or breath left in me.”
How can someone like me, your servant, speak with someone like you, my lord? Now I have no strength, and there is no breath in me.”
Master, I am Daniel your servant. How can I talk with you! My strength is gone, and it is hard for me to breathe.”
So how can a servant of my lord talk with someone like you, sir? And as for me, there’s no strength left in me, and I can hardly breathe.’
For how can the slave of my Lord talk with my Lord? for as for me, for in that instant I had no more strength in me, neither was there any breath left in me.
For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
Now how can such a servant of my lord talk with such as my lord? As for me, right now no might stands within me, nor does any breath remain within me.”
So how am I, a servant of my lord to speak with you, my lord, and I just now have no strength in me?”
How can such a person as I even talk to you? For my strength is gone, and I can hardly breathe.”
“While he was saying all this, I looked at the ground and said nothing. Then I was surprised by something like a human hand that touched my lips. I opened my mouth and started talking to the messenger: ‘When I saw you, master, I was terror-stricken. My knees turned to water. I couldn’t move. How can I, a lowly servant, speak to you, my master? I’m paralyzed. I can hardly breathe!’
How can the servant of my lord talk with you, my lord? And as for me, there remains no strength in me now, nor is there any breath left in me.”
How can I talk to you, sir? I have no strength left, and the wind has been knocked out of me.”
How can my lord’s servant speak with you, my lord? For now no strength or even breath is left in me.”
For how can such a servant of my lord talk with such as my lord? As for me, there remains just now no strength in me, nor has any breath been left in me.”
For how can such a servant of my lord talk with such as my lord? As for me, there remains just now no strength in me, nor has any breath been left in me.”
How can I, my lord’s servant, speak to you now that I have no strength left in me and my breath fails me?”
Master, how can I, your servant, talk with you? My strength is gone, and it is hard for me to breathe.”
How, sir, am I able to speak with you? My strength is gone, and I am breathless.”
How can I talk with you? My strength is gone. In fact, I can hardly breathe.”
How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe.”
How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe.’
For how can this servant of my lord talk with you, my lord? As for me, no strength remains in me now, nor is any breath left in me.”
How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone and no breath is left in me.”
How can someone like me, your servant, talk to you, my lord? My strength is gone, and I can hardly breathe.”
How can my lord’s servant talk with my lord? For I am shaking, no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.’
How can my lord’s servant talk with my lord? For I am shaking, no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.’
How can my lord’s servant talk with my lord? For I am shaking, no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.”
How can my lord’s servant talk with my lord? For I am exhausted; no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.”
For how is the eved adoni here able to speak with such as adoni? For as for me, now no ko’ach remains in me, neither is there neshamah (breath) left in me.
How can my lord’s servant talk with my lord? For now no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.”
How can my lord’s servant talk with my lord? For now no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.”
For how can this servant of my Lord speak with my Lord since no strength remains in me and no spirit is left in me?’
How can I, your humble servant, even begin to address someone like you, my lord? My strength is gone, and I can hardly catch my breath.
For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? For as for me, immediately there remained no strength in me. There was no breath left in me.”
And how shall the servant of my Lord be able to speak with my Lord? nothing of strengths dwelled in me, but also my breath is closed betwixt, [or stopped]. (And how shall my lord’s servant be able to speak with my lord? for no strength remaineth in me, and also my breath is taken away.)
And how is the servant of this my lord able to speak with this my lord? as for me, henceforth there remaineth in me no power, yea, breath hath not been left in me.
