2 Corinthians 2:15

15 For we are unto God a sweet savor of Christ, in those who are saved and in those who perish:

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are a sweet savor of Christ unto God, in them that are saved, and in them that perish;

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 We smell like the aroma of Christ’s offering to God, both to those who are being saved and to those who are on the road to destruction.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For to God we are the aroma of the Messiah, both among those being saved and among those being lost;

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15-16 In fact, God thinks of us as a perfume that brings Christ to everyone. For people who are being saved, this perfume has a sweet smell and leads them to a better life. But for people who are lost, it has a bad smell and leads them to a horrible death.

No one really has what it takes to do this work.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are a sweet odour of Christ to God, in the saved and in those that perish:

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are the good odour of Christ unto God, in them that are saved, and in them that perish.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 Our offering to God is to be the perfume of Christ that goes out to those who are being saved and to those who are being lost.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 ·Our offering to God is this: [or For God’s sake; or To God] We are the ·sweet smell [aroma; fragrance] of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are ·being lost [perishing; headed for destruction].

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are unto God the sweet savor of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them which perish.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 To God we are the aroma of Christ among those who are saved and among those who are dying.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are like a sweet-smelling incense offered by Christ to God, which spreads among those who are being saved and those who are being lost.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

14-16a Thanks be to God who leads us, wherever we are, on his own triumphant way and makes our knowledge of him spread throughout the world like a lovely perfume! We Christians have the unmistakeable “scent” of Christ, discernible alike to those who are being saved and to those who are heading for death. To the latter it seems like the very smell of doom, to the former it has the fresh fragrance of life itself.

16b-17 Who could think himself adequate for a responsibility like this? Only the man who refuses to join that large class which trafficks in the Word of God—the man who speaks, as we do, in the name of God, under the eyes of God, as Christ’s chosen minister.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in those that are saved and in those that perish;

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 As far as God is concerned there is a sweet, wholesome fragrance in our lives. It is the fragrance of Christ within us, an aroma to both the saved and the unsaved all around us.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

14-16 In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, he brings knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance. Because of Christ, we give off a sweet scent rising to God, which is recognized by those on the way of salvation—an aroma redolent with life. But those on the way to destruction treat us more like the stench from a rotting corpse.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing—

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 God considers us to be the sweet smell that Christ is spreading among people who are being saved and people who are dying.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 We are a sweet smell of Christ that reaches up to God. It reaches out to those who are being saved from the punishment of sin and to those who are still lost in sin.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing.

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;

15 For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God, in those who are saved, and in those who perish;

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 for we be the good odour of Christ to God, among these that be made safe, and among these that perish. [for we be the good odour, or savour, of Christ to God, in these that be made safe, and in these that perish.]

2 Corinthians 2:15X

15 because of Christ a sweet fragrance we are to God, in those being saved, and in those being lost;
