  5. Behold, no fear of me should terrify you, Nor should my pressure weigh heavily on you.
  6. For Your arrows have sunk deep into me, And Your hand has pressed down on me.
  7. From the sole of the foot even to the head There is nothing healthy in it, Only bruises, slashes, and raw wounds; Not pressed out nor bandaged, Nor softened with oil.
  8. Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the wine press?
  9. So joy and rejoicing are removed From the fruitful field, and from the land of Moab. And I have eliminated the wine from the wine presses; No one will tread them with shouting, The shouting will not be shouts of joy.
  10. For the king of the North will again raise a greater multitude than the former, and after an interval of some years he will press on with a great army and much equipment.
  11. So let’s learn, let’s press on to know the Lord. His appearance is as sure as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, As the spring rain waters the earth.”
  12. All the land will change into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site from Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s wine presses.
