  1. There the Lord will be our Mighty One. It will be like a place of broad rivers and streams. No galley with oars will ride them, no mighty ship will sail them.

  8. “‘On that day messengers will go out from me in ships to frighten Cush out of her complacency. Anguish will take hold of them on the day of Egypt’s doom, for it is sure to come.

    We went on ahead to the ship and sailed for Assos, where we were going to take Paul aboard. He had made this arrangement because he was going there on foot.
  15. What grieved them most was his statement that they would never see his face again. Then they accompanied him to the ship.

  23. The ship was caught by the storm and could not head into the wind; so we gave way to it and were driven along.
  24. so the men hoisted it aboard. Then they passed ropes under the ship itself to hold it together. Because they were afraid they would run aground on the sandbars of Syrtis, they lowered the sea anchor and let the ship be driven along.
  25. On the third day, they threw the ship’s tackle overboard with their own hands.
