^40 (A)And while ^(B)the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him, and ^(C)laying His hands on each one of them, He was ^(D)healing them. ⁴¹ And demons also were coming out of many, shouting and saying, “You are ^(E)the Son of God!” But ^(F)rebuking them, He was ^(G)not allowing them to speak, because they knew Him to be the ^[a]Christ.

¹⁶ Now when evening came, they brought to Him many ^(A)who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and ^(B)healed all who were ill ¹⁷ in order to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “^(C)He Himself took our infirmities and ^[a]carried away our diseases.”

^32 (A)Now when evening came, ^(B)after the sun had set, they began bringing to Him all who were ill and those who were ^(C)demon-possessed. ³³ And the whole ^(D)city had gathered at the door. ³⁴ And He ^(E)healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew who He was.
