²¹ She will give birth to a Son; and ^(A)you shall name Him Jesus, for ^[a]He ^(B)will save His people from their sins.”

¹¹ “^(A)I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd ^(B)lays down His life for the sheep.

¹⁵ just as ^(A)the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and ^(B)I lay down My life for the sheep. ¹⁶ And I have ^(C)other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice; and they will become ^(D)one flock, with ^(E)one shepherd.

²⁶ But you do not believe, because ^(A)you are not of My sheep. ²⁷ My sheep ^(B)listen to My voice, and ^(C)I know them, and they follow Me; ²⁸ and I give them ^(D)eternal life, and they will never perish; and ^(E)no one will snatch them out of My hand. ^29 [a]My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
